About
Great Eagle Golf Club, rated one of the most affordable golf courses in Arizona, is a championship course in the West Valley. Although it has a traditional design there are several unique and challenging elements that come into play such as undulating mounds that cause uneven lies and well-guarded greens. Water hazards also come into play on four holes. The golf course offers three sets of tee boxes so that there is some flexibility regarding levels of challenge, but overall the course is suitable for any player. The Great Eagle Golf Club, in addition to the course, also offers both a chipping green and a putting green.

Disappointed
Itasca been a while since I've played here. I was very disappointed with course conditions, and the staff was mediocre at best. Pace of play not monitored and was ridiculously slow.
Disappointed
I used to play this course quite frequently years ago, and it was always an enjoyable experience. Not so much this time. The course is really run down, and the staff were as exciting as the golf course was. I seriously doubt if I will return.
Great day of golf
So many reviews mention the cart path. It's rough but take your time. The fairways and greens were in good shape. Has some very challenging holes with the fairway bunkers, moguls and sand traps around the greens. Overall we enjoyed our round.
Great course, especially for the price!!!
This is one of my favorite courses in the valley. The fact that it's one of the cheapest doesn't hurt. Fairways are perfect and greens are receptive. Clubhouse crew is good but it's the bar that is amazing. Most beer on tap of any clubhouse I've ever been to. Food is great too.
Rough Condition and SLOW
Course is not in very good condition. Greens are okay. Over 5 hours to play this course is WAY to long.
Great people
Allot of bad reviews from bad cart paths....yes, cart path is worse then a Canadian highway, but geez, maybe don't golf off them, eh? Course and people are great.
Nice change of scenary
I love next door to Great Eagle in The Grand. Play here once or twice a year. Tough from Copper Tees. Going back to White Tees next time.
SlowMotion
Greens were in terrible condition and there was no one marshal in the course which was terribly slow. Bad first impression and I’m likely won’t be coming back here.
