North Golf Course at Granite Falls Golf Club
About
The North Course is one of two courses at Granite Falls Golf Club, the other naturally being the South Course. The North Course was built on a rolling, hilly terrain with stately trees and abundant shrubbery. Although the fairways are quite generous, they are undulating and surrounded by sand traps. There is also extensive mounding and bunkering, both grass and sand, to provide more challenge. Water hazards come into play on 10 holes. Many holes have beautiful mountain backdrops, creating a scenic environment for the game. The course has four sets of tees, making it accessible to all skill levels. Granite Falls Golf Club, in addition to the two golf courses, also features a grass driving range with target areas, two putting greens, and a short game area with a practice bunker.

feeling ripped off...
No water jugs out around the course. They didn't have a beverage cart circling around, it was 108 today, thanks. Although the course is nice, I only played it because summer rates, glad glad got it off my list, 1 around done for this guy.
Challenging greens
Enjoyable round with residents/members as playing partners and guide. Must know speed and breaks on greens which is where the members offered advice. Looking forward to playing again.
dry conditions
i have played this course many times and this is the driest i think i have come across. the course was recently aerated and that accounts for some of the bumpy greens, but the fairways seem very dry and burnt out. much more than other courses in the west valley. the staff as always is friendly and very accommodating. will play here again when the conditions improve
Fairways Experiencing Summer Burnout
Fairways and grass around the greens all experiencing bad summer burnout with large portions of no grass. Greens in good condition. Both of the GF courses are great courses.....just bad time of year for them. I will definitely play here again, just not in the immediate future. Staff are always very courteous.
nice round
Had a bad day at the course. Not the courses fault. Bad swing day, but the course was in good shape.
Very nice!
Was encouraged to play the course because of the price but was very pleased with everything about the course. Friendly and helpful staff and the greens were prefect!
Snowbirds gone
Finally the snowbirds have flown away and we get to play a great course at a fantastic rate. I rated this course moderate but the greens are difficult. There is tons of room of tee boxes. but shots on proper side of fairway are rewarded. Greens have lots of undulations and were nice and quick, Generally you need to be below the hole here. Can't wait to get back.
Nice place
Course was in good condition, friendly staff enjoyed the food and view from the restaurant after the round.
Another great Sun City Grand Course
awesome track, super friendly staff in proshop, course is challenging, awesome layout, fast greens, Played in a strong wind and still had a great time. Great price also will definitely play again
Wet conditions
Course had a lot of leaking valves and sprinkler heads. The course was exceptionally wet in places.
The green were perfect, fast and true.
If your good off the tee - course can forgive some shots.
I like it because I am moving to the area. Greens are good and tee boxes in good shape for January! I am moving to SSG and look forward to more golf at this course.
The best the greens have ever been.
I have played this course for years and the greens were in their best shape ever but still a little on the slow side
Good day
This course was in excellent shape. When we got there at 5am the kids that was working the pro shop was very personable and friendly He new a lot and he was a heck of a sales man 2. They need to give that kid a raise
Great course!!
I've played a lot of the different courses and I was expecting a middle of the road course for the price. When i saw it I was amazed at how nice this course is. Great layout, excellent looking course conditions. I will definitely play this course again.
Course in very bad shape!
Played Saturday morning July 5th we had a shotgun start and the pace pf play was great as we finished in less than 4 hours. The course is a very nice layout but is in absolute terrible shape. Fairways have little to no grass at all and many of them had expansive area where the grass was cut completely out and the were attempting to repair. the greens were extremely bumpy and possibly the slowest greens I have ever putted on. If you were outside 20/25 ft it was almost impossible to hit the putts hard enough to reach the hole. I doubt this course will be any good until the fall. I would not recommend the North course but give the others a try instead.
decent for the money
we had a shotgun start, pace of play was fine, it rained for about 2 holes then the day was nice!
no sun city pushover!!!
Granite Falls north course is one of my favorites courses in the Sun City west chain of courses to choose from. This track from the tips is no pushover, greens can be tricky if you end up on the wrong side of the hole. Fairways always nice hard to find a bad lie unless u miss them. Like most az courses bunkers are mostly just hardpan so don't expect anything different here. Nice carts, and for 13$ hot deal on golfnow you just can't go wrong. Enjoy the course!
