Shame on you
I love this place..played it lots of times..good course,
usually a good value.
BUT our tee time was right after a four person best ball tourney..
Five and a half hour
round..back up at every tee...
Not fair...
I realize that tourments pay the biils , but treat the golfer honestly.
Don't offer B.S. tee tines to the people who support you
Great Day To Play
This course gives an avid golfer to a beginner several options to learn the game, have fun and enjoy the game. They have a beautiful range with a large variety of distance markers. The course itself is bumpy on the drive but thats the only minor complaint lol. Ok the course is well cut and the greens are emaculate. I spent 5 hours there myself....
Second best round ever
Loved this course the staff were nice and paired me up with an awesome couple and another gentleman they were all great with really good energy. The course was fun the layout could be a bit confusing for a first timer. Being that there were no directions in hole -to-hole accommodations. The driving range was really nice with music and a laid back feel. Even some ducks joined me at the putting green (they weren't the best putters) so that also made me feel very comfortable. Will play again. The pace of play on the last 4 holes was a bit slow but I still over it there!
Big golf complex - two full 18-hole courses (1 course was under construction), one 9-hole course, driving range, practice greens.
Pace of play for a Sunday morning is decent/average; just don't expect to have a 3-hour round on a Sunday morning. Got paired up with a 2-some and single player; all four of us never having played the course before. Overall good enough conditions to play in, with 1 or 2 holes playing "cart path only". Greens were in great condition! no surprise bumps or rolls. "Lakes" however looked terrible; murky murky water.
Challenging course if you don't have good consistent distance control in the short-mid irons. Tough attack angles to the greens from 170 yards and out. Most holes are safer to land short than misses long/right/left. Most of the bunkers were firm and not hard packed.
Underrated good value gem
This was my first time at the course. Really great staff! The course was in decent shape after all the rain expect for the 16th that is undergoing repair and is being played as a long par 3. The pace was nice (Easter Sunday?) and was able to complete the course with 4 ish hrs. The staff accorded my a free replay!! Unfortunately the rains came and only managed 8 holes.
The layout reminds me of Skywest (Hayward) though more forgiving with wider fairways. Good variety of holes with risk reward types. I think it is a nice value course. Will definitely play again. It is quite flat thus an easy walk.
Nice course, a little muddy in March
Overall, good experience worth 4 star out of 5, some muddy areas, lay out kind of confusing but that's also because it was my first time, super friendly staff, no wait even when I came early for my tee time, like to walk when it's dry
Too much mud!
Too much of the course is muddy and "carts on sidewalks only". Although I paid 1/2 the green fees w/cart, it was not worth it because of the extremely wet & muddy conditions.
I do not recommend playing here until the course dries out further.
Soggy
The course was really soggy from alll the rain it had gotten recently. The greens were in great shape. I can see this being a very nice course once it dries up and the grounds crews can get to work. Even with the unexpected water hazards and losing golf balls in the fairway due to plugging, it was worth the price of admission.
Good community course for the money
The course has pretty good layout. Plenty of sand traps and ponds to get you challenged. The green are also a little tough to test your patience. Overall a good place to go for your money.
Love this course, but I should have waited another week or so to let it dry out. Recent rains have kept the mowers off the course, leading to tall fairways and very thick rough. It also added a new water hazard to some of the lower lying holes on the back nine.
Ummm, seems like this guy is giving GOD 2 stars for making the course muddy during an epic wet winter season. Sheesh!
