Great track, conditions have been better

Always enjoy going out to play this hidden gem. The course is great, the setting is fantastic and the staff is friendly and they genuinely appreciate you coming to play the course. I have been 10x in the last several years. This time however, the course conditions (while still very good) had taken a step backwards. The greens were very slow and some were in need of repair. One hole had a temporary green. I am confident it will get turned around, but it was not as good as usual.

Nice Golf Course

Deer Island is really nice. Unfortunately, Teeoff did not notify golfers that one nine was closed for the day. They were treating the fairways with chemical. So, I had to play the back 9 twice. Even with that, I enjoyed the course. I will go back.

Excellent course, one of the best in central Florida!

Challenging layout, water on a majority of holes, sloped greens with breaking putts, tee boxes need some work and one of the par 3s was closed, otherwise great.
