Great course with a great layout

18. Wonderful holes and everyone had water somewhere along the hole. Many tee box shots over water but very manageable. The course is in excellent condition. There was no cart person that was going around to provide any beverages or snacks.

There are better courses

Did not have a good experience. 2 of our foursome were unable to make it because of illness and I was charged for them and not even given an option for a rain check, even after asking. The driving range is mediocre and you can’t hit driver on it because it’s too short. The starter is awesome, very friendly and personable.

We decided to get out of the normal Orlando courses we play at when we come down here.

Deer Island CC is a little ride away from city center but worth every minute we drove.

Course is in superb shape from tees to greens, you can tell management is taking all details seriously.

Excellent Course

Played with friends from Maryland on a cool windy day. Starter said course had 180 golfers on this day. Pace of play was wonderful - we finished in 4 hours and 10 minutes as a foursome. Course is in great shape and they really enjoyed seeing the gators and eagles.
