Deer Island Country Club

I love the course. It has great challenges. Fairways and greens were in good shape.

The clubhouse could have more offerings of food, as in a restaurant and a bar to belly up to, dry goods and ambience .

The staff is always friendly and the starters are warm and inviting.

Conditions were excellent, it was a chilly Friday morning so the course was not busy.

Layout will require some strategy in shot sele tion.

Wish the clubhouse offered more lunch selections.

If you like a little challenge, well manicured fairway and greens, and you want to save a little money, this place can’t be beat for quality + value. A little bit of a drive for us from Orlando but will do it again and again.

Great layout, challenging as there is water hazards on every hole. Some greens weren’t in the best shape and a par 3 hole had a temporary green since the retaining wall of this “island” green was damaged by bad weather. Hoping to play it again one day.

The course is in great shape. It’s a tough course for golfers of my skill level, I average 100 per round, but I really enjoyed the challenge. There is a lot of water on the course so it make you really think about your shot and what club to use.

We discovered Deer Island a few years ago and we now visit it a few times a year.

Challenging but fair.

There is a need to play it a few times to know the best way to avoid the multiple hazards

in place.

The fairways are like no one plays on them pristine

Greens are all in good shape and roll consistently

Golf course is in outstanding shape. One temporary green due to hurricane damage. Greens are fast and true and the layout is fun. Lots of water so make sure you bring enough golf balls.
