Mission Inn Resort & Club - Las Colinas Course
About
Las Colinas is one of two championship golf courses at Mission Inn Resort. It is less challenging than the other course, El Campeon, but both provide enjoyable and unique rounds. Las Colinas sprawls across gently rolling hills with elevation changes that are less startling than those found throughout the older El Campeon course. Twisted oak hammocks and a sprinkling of lush pines accent Las Colinas. The golf course has an inland links layout that boasts wide-open, forgiving fairways and large, receptive greens. There is an interesting variety of risk/reward opportunities as well as a few forced carries. The course has many player-friendly features but its classic architecture does call for a fair amount of accuracy, especially on its signature hole, the par-5 12th. Nicknamed "Alligator Alley," this 493-yard hole features a winding, tree-lined fairway.

Did not live up to the billing
Played the Las Colinas course after finding it on Golf Now. After checking out the website, I was pretty excited about playing the course. It was billed as a “must play”. Upon actually getting on the course, we found the conditions to be lacking. The greens were shaggy and spotty. The fairways had issues and the tee boxes on a few holes resembled a wagon trail.
I will say that the staff were absolutely fantastic. Very friendly, professional, and welcoming.
I understand that the other course El Campion is much better but I don’t know if it is the layout or condition.
I recommend you play elsewhere.
Greens need work
Pace of play was was to slow. The greens need a lot of love .
Mission inn missing the mark
Pace of play was good considering no rangers out.
Greens ssslllooooowwww have been in better condition. Fairways fine sand traps horrendous
Mission inn emails me every week touting the conditions. All the tournaments that are being played there. Not impressed for such a quality reputation.
I guess we’ll just blame it on covid like everything else.
the course was in great shape the case of clay was a little slow
Everything is good but...
All is well with the course but the practice greens and the greens on the course are totally different speed... the greens on thr course are just not very good (really slow). Hope it can be better next time.
average
green okay ,they are doing a lot of patching. The course is not in good shape.
Greens?
First time playing here during the winter. Greens are fair; not what I would expect for this course given my past experiences. Pace was slow on back 9 on a Monday.
Just very average
There’s nothing overtly horrible about my experience playing Las Colinas today, but there’s also nothing above average. The course was in OK shape ... greens were cut very long and rolled slow. Some fairways had low areas that were absolutely drenched. Some of the holes would be spectacular, if kept properly. Others were nothing special.
Even for $52, I wouldn’t drive more than 20-30 minutes to play this golf course. El Campeon is just a superior golf course in every way.
The course was in great shape my only negative was directed at GolfNow I was charged the booking fees that were supposed to be waived
Greens where being worked
I played this course probably 4 months ago. It was in great shape. wasn’t to impressed this go around. overall I love the layout challenging but not impossible would play here again maybe try the other course this time
the course was in great shape the staff was phenomenal I also played on the 23rd at the same course my only negative was that I was charged the additional booking fees that are supposed to be negated for both dates through the end of the year
Mission Inn golf Las Colinas
Great course, very well kept, greens were very nice, fast and true.
Fun golf course
considering the time of year the courses in really good condition. Pace of play was 4 hours and 10 minutes. The Pro Shop staff in the outside staff were extremely friendly and courteous. Fun Golf Course great place to play
Excellent challenge
Course for the most part was in great shape, had my best round ever playing this course. Very enjoyable and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Try it you’ll like it.
Great staff and nice day for golf!
We really enjoyed our golf outing today. Nice putting green and friendly staff check-in personnel.
50% drop in revenues imminent?
Dude in the pro shop wearing your mask half way up, blowing nose-covid all over the receipt you handed me – SERIOUSLY?
Outside staff – not a mask in sight. But the Orange man will save you, right?
The good news: this superintendent is attempting – and succeeding – in growing grass on the tees. Most Orlando courses have dirt and mud for tees. When did the triumvirate of tees-fairways-greens become only fairways and greens? Or just greens? Golfers notice.
Hey operators, on average half of your customers think covid will kill you. So, if they stop coming to your course, you are OK with a 50% drop in revenues?
