Mission Inn Resort & Club - Las Colinas Course
About
Las Colinas is one of two championship golf courses at Mission Inn Resort. It is less challenging than the other course, El Campeon, but both provide enjoyable and unique rounds. Las Colinas sprawls across gently rolling hills with elevation changes that are less startling than those found throughout the older El Campeon course. Twisted oak hammocks and a sprinkling of lush pines accent Las Colinas. The golf course has an inland links layout that boasts wide-open, forgiving fairways and large, receptive greens. There is an interesting variety of risk/reward opportunities as well as a few forced carries. The course has many player-friendly features but its classic architecture does call for a fair amount of accuracy, especially on its signature hole, the par-5 12th. Nicknamed "Alligator Alley," this 493-yard hole features a winding, tree-lined fairway.

Perfect Day of Golf
The weather was beautiful and the course was in great shape to make this an awesome day of golf. The pace of play was very comfortable to allow one to take the time needed to play well. I also appreciate how the club handled the virus issue by keeping the carts cleaned, keeping their distance and allowing people to play alone.
Wonderful golf course!!
Los Colinas does not get the rave reviews the El Campion does, however, it is still a great challenge and is in great shape. Two short par 5's get your attention if you do not keep it straight. Really like this track.
Always a pleasure to play
The course is in good shape but the greens (although pretty fast) were aerated within the last week or so which made putting a bit tougher. It has a nice layout and is always enjoyable to play.
Beautiful course!
Beautiful course but slow play due to fully booked.
Las Colinas
Playing at Mission Inn is always beautiful and the courses are very well maintained. If was going to suggest anything to the management of the course, I would suggest that they involve themselves more in play management on the course. It's a beautiful place to play golf and therefore a lot of people come to play so course management is crucial for folks to enjoy their round playing at an appropriate pace.

Great day at Misfion Inn
Course is very good condition- gree
ns were true and a good pace but appreciably slower than the putting green. The pace of play was SLOW 5 hrs - no one was ever seen out on the course minding the store!!
No Excuse for a 5 Hour Round
There is no excuse for a 5 hour round anywhere!! We had to wait on every shot--sometimes as long as 8-10 minutes for the second shot. There were NO RANGERS to speed up pace of play. We saw the cart gal 6 times it took so long to play. Two of the foursome ahead of up left on the 15th, so we got to play one par 3 without waiting. . I don't care how nice the course is or how prestigious it is if you can't play at a reasonable pace of play. I usually play here once a month but will not return until course improves pace of play by not overbooking (this is what the cart guys told me is the problem).
Greens were very fast and true. Most of the fairways were in good condition except for 3 holes with dried out spots and hard fairways.
Great Day
As always, a pleasure to play Las Colinas. Staff was friendly, ranger was great. Keep up the great work.
Rough around the edges
I golf 3 or 4 times each day! I was looking forward to play this course. However, I was severely unimpressed! This course is rough around the edges. I appears that they don’t water the course enough. I’ll not play this course again! Nor will I recommend this course to my golf buddies.
Great course
A group of eight of came from Ohio and booked the Las Colinas course this year. We had to wait about 30 minutes to allow the members golf league to finish. Course management was very informative and apologetic for the delay. Once we got started, pace of play was decent. Course staff was very friendly throughout the facilities. I would recommend this course and resort for anyone wanting to get away from the hustle of Orlando to a more laid back environment.
Fun course
Fun to play. Greens are very challenging. Would play again. I have played both mission inn courses now and they are both challenging.
Course is in great condition!
Beautiful scenery with a great course layout. The greens were firm and true! Highly recommend this course!
Bring some game
Greens are fast and smooth, played extremely early and flew a-round in. El campion is closed for minor tour event. Go to the hotel and watch them struggle on 17.
Challenging overbooked course, in good shape.
While this course is in good shape and has some interesting holes with challenging shots, they seriously overbooked for a Sunday.
We had no carts until after our t-time, they had at least 6 groups lined up waiting to go out, they pushed all groups tight and it made for slow play and frustrated golfers.
Ranger was out but little they can do in that situation.
I like the course, and will play again, but NOT on week-ends.
