Mission Inn Resort & Club - El Campeon Course

Great Course! Great Shape! Nobody there! I love this place. I would recommend this to anybody

One of my favorite courses in the area, such a fun track. Everything was in tip top shape. Only downer was that the pro shop only carried srixon balls which was kind of strange, but pretty irrelevant to the overall experience. Can’t wait to go back!

We were in Florida (based in Orlando) for the BayHill Invitational and Players Championship up in Jacksonville. Having previously lived in Orlando, I was already well aware of Mission Inn and so took my friends up to experience both El Campeon & Las Colinas. They had just hosted a couple of big tournaments, so as always, the place was in fantastic condition. We did have a small issue (that could not be helped) and Michael went out of his way to take care of it. If in the Orlando area on holiday/vacation and love your golf, spend the extra 30 minutes travel to get away from the tourist area and go to Mission Inn. I promise you that you will not be disappointed! Thank you to Michael and the team. We will see you all again same time next year to do the exact same trip all over again!

This place is so good. Well worth it to make a trip trip. The course is unique and in great shape. I would have no problem going back.

Greens were rolling fast and true. Fairways were nice and plush. Course is always challenging!

Despite the 1 hour drive from home, the Mission Inn Resort El Campeon course was worth the effort. It's a great "traditional" layout with even a few blind shots along the way. Looking forward to playing a few more rounds to learn all the nuances.

Good price, nice layout, great conditions make this a great stop in central Florida. More elevation changes than your typical Florida course. Will definitely come back again soon. Could have been a little more observant of PGA suggestions regarding Covid!

Has some really great holes; good value for money. Couldn't rate amenities as all were closed for CV-19.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The practice area provides for all aspects of your game. (e.g. full swing, chipping. bunker, putting. The course is in great shape and the greens roll true. This is my new favorite course to play.

Course is always kept nice. Challenging but fair.

Course was taking precautions for virus. No rakes, except they forgot two, hand sanitizer inside clubhouse, no water, no ball washers, and suggested now pulling pins. Oh and holes but no pins on practice greens. Good job !

Girl at check in was friendly as was starter/carry guy. Girl on snack cart came by once in 18 holes. Overall very happy with the course.

This course is one of my favourites in Florida. It has a very nice and interesting layout, is mostly very well maintained, tee boxes, fairways and bunkers are in very good condition and the greens are rather fast. As we’ve played as twosome the pace was more than excellent – some 3 ¼ hours. There is nothing to complain, it is definitely worth the drive from Orlando and if you can catch a good hot deal rate from Golfnow, it is really worth the Money!

Spent a Sunday afternoon playing this old favorite. Course was not busy. Fairways had more grass than 90% of the courses in Central Florida. Greens were very nice...not super fast as they can be although anything downhill can be scary.

Played on an empty Saturday morning due to the virus. Course was in immaculate shape! Pace of play was 3.5 hours. Staff was extremely professional and courteous

Bring your A game, lots of sand! Bunkers are everywhere. Greens were fast and true with a lot of slope if this was the last round for a few weeks, it could not have been better

Nice mature course with nice elevation changes on several holes. Greens were tough and in good shape except for sand and oversees on most. Tee boxes and fairways were better than average. All in all it was a great round. Will be back!
