Mission Inn Resort & Club - El Campeon Course

Course was in nice condition, course was playing nice just a couple of green of aeration, but course playing great

Good day of golf, course had construction hole #10 was closed, had to double on a par 5. Other than construction it was a great day, good pace of play not much traffic. A bit sparse for cart and ability to get drinks and snacks.

El Champeon is a beautiful traditional style course with msny elevation changes. In order to score you must keep the ball in the Fairways. The greens were smooth and true, probably the best greens in florida.. I definitely need to play it again.

Perfect conditions. Food was wonderful, too. Staff was very attentive.

The staff was welcoming and helpful at every interaction. The course is GORGEOUS, scenic and well maintained. The course is challenging, but just enough to make you want to come back! We look forward to returning. My only complaint, the Ladies' room near hole 8 doesn't flush properly.

Course was in great condition other than some maintenance going on and we could not play Hole 10. It’s a challenging course but overall was fun to play.

Really enjoyed the round of golf, course was in great condition except for work on a couple holes we had to play through. Look forward to playing again soon.

Although I haven't played this course for a long time, the memories quickly returned and my anticipation of the challenge of 16 was rewarded with another well tended hole! The overall condition of the course was good and the greens putted very well. Thjs course will provide any skill level a memorable experience.

El Campeon Course was in great shape, with an interesting variety of hole layouts and elevation changes. They are doing sprinkler maintenance, one hole at a time, so because the 16th hole was closed I gave myself a birdie.

All in all, a great round, we’ll worth a visit

Have not played in a while. Great oldie but goodie. Wonderful layout and very challenging. Will require A game. In terrific shape. Take one more club on par 3 over the water (back 9 can't remember hole #) especially if there is any kind of wind! Swore I had the right club and dunked 3 in the water :-) Finally broke my own stubbornness and changed clubs an wala....

Been wanting to play El Camion at Mission and resort. Booked and early afternoon tee time.

I knew before I booked this course possibly one of the holes might be shut down when we got there. They told us 17 and 18 worked on the irrigation system. We chose to play the course anyhow and just repeat a couple of holes to make up 17 and 18 you know what it feels like to play a course the challenges, the professionals this is the place, and will not break the bank. After playing this course, you really have an appreciation for professional golfers very very challenging or just an average duffer but glad I got to do it. We’ll go back and play again when the weather cools off.. Green, somewhat long, rough and nice manicured fairways, bunkers plenty of sand. Some of it was a little crusty couldn’t ask for a better conditions my advice to folks get out and play this course.

Most enjoyable play. Course was in very good condition.

However, they were updating their sprinkler system on 17th & 18th and could not play a full round, but still worth the fee.

I would play again as it is a challenging course.
