1 & 10 at University Park Country Club

Love playing at University. The course is one of the best in the area. We did see that the new management put back the mandatory mask mandate. We will go back to playing other courses until they go back to optional or drop it all together.

Definitely one of the nicest courses we played in the Sarasota area. Very nice layout, fast greens, in a housing development, but the houses are not in play.

Was too wet yesterday and should have been closed. It’s the best daily fee course in the area!

Played this course using a GolfNow "Hot Deal" and liked it so much that I went back and played it again four days later. This is a true "members only" private country club which is opening tee times to the general public during the hot Florida summer. Conditions and service are thus what you would expect from a private club. The practice / warm up areas are first tier, as is the practice green. Take advantage of this opportunity to play University Park Country Club. You will be glad you did.

Course conditions are always excellent. Play the course about 4 times a year and it is a true treat

Staff are friendly and the course is in good shape for middle of summer. Pace of play was very swift on the front 9, slowed up coming back. Friendly members and overall a good quality facility although - the bar had closed by the time I finished 18 (!).

This was my 4th time playing this course this year. I would play it everyday if I could afford it but they are still asking about $80 which is very high for Florida summer rates. I used a GolfNow hot deal and paid about $45.

It was cart path only due to overnight rain, and we had to wait out one thunderstorm, but this course is in impeccable condition. The carts have navigation and will shut the cart down if you wander into a forbidden area. That was ok with me. The one slightly irritating issue was the nav kept showing a message that we were running 20 minutes late and we needed to play faster. The only slow down was due to the thunderstorm.

Overall it was a very good day at an excellent course.

The golf course staff was staff was accommodating, helpful and courteous as always. The course was excellent from Tee to Green. Fairways and first cut of rough were perfectly manicured. Green held shots from 200 plus! Course was challenging but offered a great round for an average golfer like myself. Pace was good and we are always paired with good people.

Had lunch after the round. The hostess was friendly and cheerful.. She helped us out and made us feel special. The kitchen & wait staff topped of the day with good food & good service. Thanks to all wf will be back.

Many scenic holes with enough challenges for all levels. Highly recommended and can’t wait to bring my wife next time I come back here.

Beautiful course, well maintained and super friendly staff. The course was lush with lots of vegetation. I gave it a 4 versus 5 only because it does not have any breathe taking holes.

University never disappoints. They have had lots of rain but still in great shape, greens have good pace even though it is hot Florida summer.
