Reflection Bay Golf Club

The consistency of the sand in the traps is sort of a paste.; consequently, it is very difficult to get under the ball. I know that in desert courses it is difficult to keep sand in the traps because the wind blows the sand out. I assume the grounds keepers put something in the sand to keep it from blowing out. The result is the sand is sort of a thick paste mixture which doesn’t have much give. Except for the sand traps the course is interesting, challenging and entertaining. Will play it again, but just have to avoid the traps.

It was my first time there and a very disappointing experience. A friend of mine booked a time for ten players and two people to ride. We showed up on time with two local players out of the ten who lived in Las Vegas. The cashier would not give our two local players the resident rate. I asked why and he said they are not giving the resident rate during march madness weekend. So I asked for a supervisor, and he told me no exceptions. You should have read all the terms and conditions on the golf contract, so I asked could he make an expectation since the other eight players are paying 185.00 each and two players 25.00 each, which is over $1,450.00 of business, not including potential food and drinks purchases from the cart girl The resident two players would have paid 90.00, but the supervisor said no, so I asked for the manager. He said we couldn't have any expectations either, even though there is no communication on the website or the golf after-hours voicemail system about this march madness weekend policy.

The course had green paint in the fairways on several holes and some spots on the greens. The charger in the cart didn't even work. Based on this first experience and poor customer service, I would not recommend the course to anyone.

Very interesting lay-out with plenty of water which is not expected for a desert course. Really recommended.

Got to course only to find out fairways and rough not overseeded. Not worth $160 to play on dormant Bermuda. Need to disclose this type of major condition fault. Heck, they usually will disclose aeration of course.

Previously played Reflection Bay a few years ago when visiting and was very impressed so we decided to go back on this trip. The course condition has fallen off immensely. Fairways were in rough shape but decent enough. Greens were absolutely awful. Patches of turf have been recently replaced on several greens and it felt almost pointless trying to putt at times. Outside of the greens, several bunkers are in need of sand. Very sad to see such a nice course design be let down by poor conditions

First off I need to say that I have played this course multiple times since it opened but this week regardless of the weather the course was in the worst condition I’ve ever seen. Although the greens were reasonably smooth and somewhat fast there’s a lack of grass in a number of areas on them. The bunkers were totally inconsistent and had not been wrecked by the maintenance staff. There’s bird scat all over four of the greens which I understand but that can be cleaned off periodically at least. The fairways were not in good shape and of course this time of year I would expect dormant grass off of the main fairways but it’s bad in most spots. Very disappointed and hopefully they can adjust with the right feedback. I did supply an online survey to them as well

We had the misfortune of having a tee time here on one of the windiest days in recent memory. Granted, not the course’s fault. But nothing about the course was redeeming or made us want to power through. Fairways were spotty and/or half-dormant. The greens were very patchy and cratered with unrepaired ball marks. The fringes were in very rough shape. Many of the bunkers needed more sand. Pity, because the pictures make it seem beautiful. Maybe it is in the spring when the rough isn’t dormant. But right now, this is a $40 course AT BEST.

Pace of play very slow. Course in average condition.

Golfnow and Reflection Bay are ripoff artists. I canceled t time well before 48 hrs by phone with the club and they accepted it but they said the $25 GolfNow charge they couldn't control.

So i tried to contact golfnow and was blocked. Even trying to reset my password was not responded to yet they took my money. Then GolfNow charged me for the green fee that I canceled as well and the golf club said too bad, I needed to cancel using GolfNow, since that's how I made the reservation.

I have filed a complaint with the AG , my bank, and will tell everybody to stay away from both of you.

Played on a very good day. Sunny and no wind. Course is very challenging but fair. It is in good condition except that the Green is a little bumpy. Staff is very friendly. We called ahead and told the proshop that we were going to be late for about 10 min due to traffic. They were able to rearrange the tee times to squeeze us in with minimum delay.in a super busy day. This course is a must play in Vegas.

Overall great layout and awesome views but course conditions are nowhere near a $100 ($60 local) per round course. Greens were very bumpy slow and soft. Everything off the fairway is completely dead. Snack shack at turn is closed. Pace of play is decent compared to other courses in Vegas. Of course conditions improved this would be a top 5 course in vegas

Played the black tees . 6800 yards. Course layout is excellent and has some challenging holes. I recommend to play this course. 8 handicap .

We played on a Sunday. Pace of play was great!
