Black mountain fun
Had a great day here, course was beautiful and the greens were challenging. We will definitely come back. Thank you
course condition
fairways good use more grass ,more water greens were good
Very poor condition.
I don't recommend this course to golfers. Poorly designed and poorly maintained old local golf course for seniors.
Terrible golf course
Course layout is boring, fairways are bare and in rough shape. Greens are small, however in decent shape. Not a course worth the drive for those staying on the strip, compare it to a bad muni located in a less than stellar neighborhood. One of the nines has been left to turn back into desert sand. Will say the staff was good and very friendly so thats a plus, course should not be on Golfnow.
Golf vacation
Myself and a friend get away every year in March for a golf vacation from Michigan. Arrived in Vegas at 11:30 am had a tee time for 2:30pm. Played 18 and loved the course. Will play it again.
Black Mountain Course
Easy play for the average golfer and absolutely no challenge for a better to low handicap player, too easy!
You get a great deal for your money again for the average golfer and can score lower than most courses as long as you can keep it straight and not spray the ball too much.
Black Mountain
This was my first time at Black Mountain and it was fun. There are some challenging holes for low handicaps and there is a drivable par 4. The conditions were good for it still being winter so I really can't complain. The staff is great! They go out of their way to get what you need. I will be recommending Black Mountain more often.
short and sweet
Course had a lot of bare spots. Very tight lies everywhere. Sand very shallow, full of rocks. Greens sanded not long ago, but they rolled very well with a good speed.
we got a reduced rate thru a golf program but would have felt worse to spend anymore money than we did.
It's winter here and I dont know that I am a good judge of what to expect? Below my standards tho.
Ok course
Course is ok, fairways need some work but it is early in the season.
Sad example of neglect
The course was poorly watered, fairways and greens hard. Course had not been mowed. Fairways were in very poor condition. Some of the PGA markers were illegible. No Marshalls on the course and the round took 5 hours 10 minutes. The course was shabby and looked like the management was just wringing as much money out of it as possible with the least amount of investment in maintenance. Had the course been in good shape, with its narrow fairways, plentiful bunkers and relatively small greens, it might have been more fun.
Course is in poor condition
We chose to leave after 13 holes. The course was in terrible condition. Won't play this one again.
Viva Las Vegas
Had a great day!! Fairways were average but the greens were great!
This course is terrible
The course needs to be torn up and reseeded. The fairways were full of weeds and bare spots. There was no more then 20% grass in the fairways. We played late morning on a weekday and the first nine was over 90 minutes. Due to the slow play and course conditions we left after only 8 holes.
good not great
The course operates like a high end operation. Clubs are picked up for you at the bag drop & cleaned after the round. The greens are very good. Fairways below average & tee boxes are in good shape. At the discount price we had, I'd play it again, but wouldn't pay a premium course price to play.
Poor conditions
The conditions of this course were really bad.........don't drop a match
Course was rated a little above average
I enjoyed playing the cours eventhough, the weather was cold. My cold weather gloves help save my hands. The course was somewhat challenging. I would recommend it. Service was exccellent.
Cheap round of golf.
We paid $20 apiece to play this course, including a cart. That makes this a great value. Regular green fees of $60+ would not be worth it when there are so many other courses in the Vegas area.
Stay away, a "DOG TRACK". Worst then any Muni you will ever play
DOG TRACK. Worst then any Muni you will or have ever played, a Dump between highways / train tracks & slum looking homes.
course type
the course was in great shape and good tee placement
for for your handicap
