Stallion Mountain Golf Club is conveniently situated just minutes from the Strip, but this Las Vegas golf course feels much further away thanks to a scenic landscape of towering, mature pines and six sparkling lakes. Over the years the course has hosted several major events including Frank Sinatra's Celebrity Classic and Las Vegas Invitational. It has a versatile layout that offers plenty of variety and shot values, which makes it appealing for a range of different skill levels. The par 4s and par 5s require long, accurate drives but the approach shots will test your iron game. The golf course also features undulating fairways lined with bunkers and water hazards come into play on 10 holes. In addition to the golf course, Stallion Mountain boasts a comprehensive practice facility that includes a 16-acre driving range with 40 tees, five practice putting greens, two chipping greens, and two practice bunkers.

Greens are bad and much of the course lacks proper grass

Good course layout. Staff was friendly and responsive. Course pas of play was terrible. 6 hours. Greens were diseased and lacking grass in many places. Not much long grass and hitting off of dirt frequently. Restaurant had great breakfast burritos. Staff helpful. Bar cart somewhat expensive.

Played 2yrs ago this iconic course. Saying it's on its way back. Played today with local($48) saying he stopped playing it because bad conditions, hadn't played since2022, buddy told him its clean. After round Local not coming back. The un-local($119) won't becoming back ether. Told front desk you should be embarrassed to charge $119 for this compost trak. He said new mgt hates Callys. Don't get ripped if your out of State. Mgt sucks, terrible conditions.

Cold and windy

Course was brown with some green patches of grass. Sand traps were ok. Greens had some patchy spots. Played the course with gusty winds and cool temps.. it was OK.

Terrible Condition

The course is in terrible shape. Grass and dirt fairways. Greens are beat to crap. Very challenging course! I haven't played here in a couple years. I haven't missed anything. My buddy was here from Dallas

and we wanted to get out 1 more day. I won't choose or recommend this course to anyone. There are a lot of other options in Vegas.

Terrible shape!

My buddy and I played here this past weekend. The course is in terrible shape. The fairways are a mix of grass and dirt. The greens are beat to crap! I am a starter at LVCC. My buddy was here from Dallas. We played LVCC Fri afternoon and here Sat. I wouldn't recommend this course to anyone. There are a lot of other courses here in Vegas that are worthy of playing.

Nice Course

In general this course is a very nice course to play. I was paired up with 3 other individuals who were great fun to golf with. A wife and husband party from Seattle and a gentleman from Buffalo. We were all at different golfing levels and played the course easily while enjoying the course layout. Too my recollection only two birdie were had but we had 4 hrs of great fun.

Book a time and go play . I think you'll enjoy it.

Rallyin at the Stallion

I got us a good rate. It wasn’t a far trip from the strip. Pro shop staff was very congenial. Front nine took 3 hours even though there were Marshall’s around. There wasn’t a way to preorder food at the turn so we flew back to the clubhouse to get a couple of hotdogs-as we were told they’d be quick. Something else would be 15 minutes. We put our condiments on and flew back to the 10th tee not missing our place at all. We teed off and then bit into hotdogs that were as cold as our beers! The back nine took only two hours. The course had some dry spots and disease on some of the greens. I’d play it again but I’d back my on food.

A little tired course

Started late because of a tournament ahead of us. The fairways and greens are pretty beat up.
