About
Stallion Mountain Golf Club is conveniently situated just minutes from the Strip, but this Las Vegas golf course feels much further away thanks to a scenic landscape of towering, mature pines and six sparkling lakes. Over the years the course has hosted several major events including Frank Sinatra's Celebrity Classic and Las Vegas Invitational. It has a versatile layout that offers plenty of variety and shot values, which makes it appealing for a range of different skill levels. The par 4s and par 5s require long, accurate drives but the approach shots will test your iron game. The golf course also features undulating fairways lined with bunkers and water hazards come into play on 10 holes. In addition to the golf course, Stallion Mountain boasts a comprehensive practice facility that includes a 16-acre driving range with 40 tees, five practice putting greens, two chipping greens, and two practice bunkers.

Fun course
Greens were decent. Fairways- some good , some patchy. Tee boxes good. Pace was so so. 5 hour round. Nice driving range.

Great staff, poor course conditions
So glad this was a hot deal and we got it for pretty cheap because this course is in poor condition. All bunkers are "ground under repair", right now they are hard, lots of grass and weeds.
It has not and will not be winter overseeded so at least with the shape of my shot I got tons of roll, several times out driving my friend who usually beats me!
General air of neglect to course, the locals we played with said there is a plan to redo/take out some bunkers. Lots of tree overgrowth, had to dodge branches along the cart path.
It would be a fun course when it is in better shape, it did seem like we had to drive around a lot getting to the next hole.

The course has great features..
The course in general is well laid out... They do need to repair all the sand traps as they are all "ground under repair" free drop.. If the bunkers were in play as normal it would be much more challenging.

Enjoyable Day of Golf
Like everyone has said, course conditions are pretty rough. But I knew that coming in so expectations were low. Greens were nice and pace of play was great. For $50 in Vegas is play here again

A Dump
This course is a complete dump. Conditions are awful. All bunkers are ground under repair, but no one said anything about that until I saw a sign on hole 17. I will never play here again. Expensive too !
Course in need of repair
We were disappointed with our golfing experience because:
*Our Teetime was delayed and we & group before us were asked to start at Hole 13 because of backup at 1st Hole. due to tournament play. When we played from Hole 13 and approached Hole 1, there was a major backup because we were sandwiched in between new groups starting out in Hole 1.
*Bathrooms on the course we’re dirty & smelly.
*Sand traps were unplayable hardened dirt in need of repair”.
*Tee boxes & greens were in poor condition.
*The foot brake on our golf cart did not work.& there was no GPS.
beware your tee time can be changed by 2 hours or cancelled with only a days notice
I booked a round on October 10 for this course on October 28th. I was called while on another course at 11.38 the day before to tell me I could play at 1.23 instead of 11.30 or I would have accept a cancellation. I informed the person that this did not give my much time to rebook so could golf now be contacted immediately so I could rebook. I was told the manager would get to it in a couple of hours. I said it would have to be sooner so I could rebook. 4.5 hours later I was told that golf now had now taken care of it but I could not contact them because they were closed. I looked for hot deals but every thing was after 1.00 so I would not be able to complete a round or it twice as expensive before 12.00
Because of this aggravated situation which I had ZERO part in creating I kindly asked the manager at Stallion Mountain to comp me the 1.23 tee time since I would not be able to get in 18 holes before dark, and it was his tournament and late notice that put me in this situation. He refused, he said tournament was booked 2 years ahead of time and giving me a days notice to not play or go out 2 hours later and not finish was all he could do. He even went on to tell me that I could talk it any way I want I was not getting a comp round.
This is not great public relations or good customer service. He says he knew of this tournament 2 years ahead of time but I can have my plans changed by him in under 24 hours and I am not entitled to a comp round.
What has happened to the idea that the customer is number I priority and is to be treated right.
I hope you other golfers get treated better
Horrible pace of play
I typically love this course because of its affordability and challenge. Must’ve been a really off day because we had to stop at the 13th as our round was already at the 3:15 mark and was slated to finish well above 6 hours. We had foursome after foursome stacked ahead of us and taking their sweet time. Literally waited to tee off for 7-10 minutes on every hole from 4 on.

Cool Course!
I was in town for business and decided to get round in with my teammates. I've only been playing golf for a few months so I was definitely the slow one of the group! The course was forgiving for a rookie like me, but the bunkers looked like they could use some love. For the price there isn't much you can complain about compared to other courses in Vegas! Would reccomend to anyone in that area!
