About
Stallion Mountain Golf Club is conveniently situated just minutes from the Strip, but this Las Vegas golf course feels much further away thanks to a scenic landscape of towering, mature pines and six sparkling lakes. Over the years the course has hosted several major events including Frank Sinatra's Celebrity Classic and Las Vegas Invitational. It has a versatile layout that offers plenty of variety and shot values, which makes it appealing for a range of different skill levels. The par 4s and par 5s require long, accurate drives but the approach shots will test your iron game. The golf course also features undulating fairways lined with bunkers and water hazards come into play on 10 holes. In addition to the golf course, Stallion Mountain boasts a comprehensive practice facility that includes a 16-acre driving range with 40 tees, five practice putting greens, two chipping greens, and two practice bunkers.

Do not waste your money on this course at this time
This course was in the worst shape of any course that we have played. There were huge bare spots (I.E. dirt) all over the fairways. The starter told us that we get a free drop out of any bunker because they are unplayable. They are supposed to redo the bunkers at some point, but they are unplayable now. Greens were super slow, but that was because they needed to be rolled. Pace of play, we waited every hole. Turned out to be a 5 hour round of golf. If I had paid the non-resident fee of $100, I would be asking for a refund. The club house was nice and they pro shop had a nice variety of products. The staff were extremely nice ... so there was no issue there. We will not be playing this course again.

Very nice course
This was the second time I played here. Course conditions were very good except for the sand traps that were declared ground under repair from the beginning. I enjoyed Playing here, will come back, soon.

Completely neglected
Played this course 10 years ago and it was amazing. Complete disaster now. Bare patches in fairways, furry greens and traps are all ground under repair. Total disappointment

I was embarrassed to bring my dad here
Bunkers are empty. They say you get a free drop if you go in them. The greens have weeds growing all through them. The fairways are dead, haven't been watered in who knows how long. The worst part of this course is that they charge $90 out of state and nearly $50 for resident lol. My dad said it's worst condition than their crappy muni course in PA. This is a $15 dollar course at best.

Good Value / Layout
Skeptical of playing here because of negative reviews, but the price and location from Strip too good to pass up. Course conditions are fair, but not as bad as reviewers have wrote. Layout is nice, you can tell this was a very good course during its day. Yes, many bunkers are under repair, but my recommendation is to not hit into them. Only request is better manage groups at first tee...confusing as there is no starter.
Course if fine, if you are looking for a for a quick break from the casinos. Don't blame the course for your bad swing.

Crap Course
Worst course and service ever. Avoid like the plague. $1 would be to much.

Worst condition
Course was not even in so so condition. It was the worst condition and I even got a damage on my club by hitting this hard fairway surface.
