Desperado/Outlaw at Badlands Golf Club

The course was in excellent condition and we had a great day, the views were absolutely phenominal. Would definitely recommend this as a must play for anyone in the area.

Hey folks, This course was in great shape and although the weaher was way hot, my husband and I played it for a total of $19.00 thanks to golfnow. We qualified for a two for one and found this steal on the "hot deals". Badlands is an excellent and quite challenging golf course (bring a few extra balls) and we enjoyed playing it both for the outstanding price and for the plush fairways and awesome greens.

BEST course in Vegas! I've been golfing in Vegas for years and this is still by far the one of the best courses! Extremely challenging in distance control! Great views on every hole and anyone coming to Vegas who hasn't played it ....there is NO better value for the money then the baaaaadlaaaands! :)

Really a great course! Would have to play it a few times to figure out where and what club to hit.
The strangest par 5 I have ever played---- 4 iron off the tee, 5 iron to lay up (which ran out the end of the fairway); sand wedge to 10' and made the putt for par! This is not my kind of par 5!!!!
Great weather; overcast and breezy which kept temps in the 80's!
Never have we seen so many rabbits on a golf course!

Always enjoy playing Badlands. Great time... particularly the outside services staff. HOWEVER... Starter was rude and discourteous given the norm for Badlands.
Suggest not playing early Wednesday mornings.... driving range closed for a period of time.

Great way to challenge your distance and shap control. Beautiful course.

Very nice course in up scale neighborhood of vagas challenging hitting over a lot of gorges and need to be able to pick you clubs and hit it straight and know when to leave driver in the bag

Beautiful views. Great course. Very challenging. Played blues and there are 3 or 4 par 4 you have to leave the driver in the bag. Played a second 18 for only $20!

Great golf course. Second time playing this course. My only complaint is that they not not honour my 9 a.m. tee time. They made me wait for some other group and teed off at 9:25 a.m. Which then made me late for my afternoon appointment.

Overall great day of Golf. Took us 6 hours to play 18 holes but that is to be expected when there are vacation golfers on the course.

A great course with many challenges. Beautiful sites as you play but the dessert can get you at a moments notice. Tuff at times to get up and down. Greens very quick with many challenging hole locations. I would definitely play again.

I enjoyed the course and got a great deal through golf now.com. I thought it was well worth the money. I played the Desperado 9 first. I was disappointed in it. I found way too many forced lay ups an several holes had blind trouble that was difficult to know about. Thankfully I played with 2 local guys who directed me where to go. The second 9 was outlaw and I did like it better. There were no really forced lay ups and a couple good risk/reward holes. Greens putted nice and fairways and rough in good shape. Tees were a little sketchy. Overall it was good course, especially for money. Did not quite live up to my expectations though

Another great visit to Badlands. Love the various combinations of courses and gorgeous homes. Ray, the starter, was first class, and made this Buckeye feel welcome. See you next year. O H - -

first time playing badlands, heard some negative reviews on course difficulties and staff, course was fun for target golf and the starter was awesome!!! FYI might to bring extra balls.

Played Diablo and Desperado. Liked Diablo but not so much Desperado. To many gulches and junk running through the middle of the fairways on too many holes. Only could use driver on 2 holes while playing Desperado. Geens were aerated 2 weeks ago and are rolling decent. Quick round right at 4 hours. Not bad for a Saturday. Will play again.

I think the rangers could have sped play up better, but he did finally manage to help about the 13th hole. Pace of play was somewhat slow

They need to redesign hole 18 since I had a good shot and never could find the ball. Same thing happen to the players I played with.

This was my first time to play this course and I will be back

For the money I think it is a great course if you are playing to 15 or lower handicap.

Two of the four folks I was with were > 15 and they lost a fair number of balls. Part of this was the windy conditions and part was the overall layout an course design. Target golf is key!

Fairways and greens were in excellent condition. The staff was very nice and helpful. Cart girl came around more then other course. Can't wait to play Badlands again
