Desperado/Outlaw at Badlands Golf Club

Short track, but tough! Needs hole maps on card or at tee box

Very well groomed, picturesque , friendly staff and course well marked out for a 27 hole course.

Starter would be better suited cleaning horse stalls. Luckily, he was not at the turn & we went to the Outlaw 9 which was a nice 9 compared to the ridiculous Disperatro which has 4 holes I would consider reasonable. I have played Pebble, Cypress, St. Andrews, etc., so I think I know what a golf course should be to be considered to be playable.

Coarse is beat down pretty bad. Tee boxes need to be resodded. Desert coarse is one thing but this one needs reseading.

Arrived for our tee time, and then waited 35 minutes after scheduled tee time to actually tee off, and put our twosome behind a foresome. We did get a good price from booking on golf now, and we weren't local, maybe that's why we were treated like this. Nevertheless, after tee off we waited ten minutes between shots, totally unacceptable- played a hole and a half and left, never to return.

What I did notice in the short time I played- cart GPS is a joke, it's like the first TV ever made, and only shows yardage to center of green, period. No photo, diagram, or image of any kind, anywhere on the course or card showing you what to expect after you tee up- total blindness.

This was an exclusive golf trip for my brother and I that seldom get to see each other and play golf- thanks to Badlands for ruining one of our rounds.

Course views were excellent and the layout was very challenging. Overall a must play golf course.

First off , for the first time playing this course I found it tough. It's a target golf course with a lot of blind shots. The yardage book I bought did help a little but if I play it again I think I'll have a better handle of the 2 nines I played Diablo/ desperado. The day I played was very windy 20 to 30 mile winds but still managed to shot 87 from the blue tees. The greens were very fast on the Diablo course but much slower on the back nine. All and all I had a good time and my partner didn't. Such is golf.

Condition Outlaw a bit out of shape when compare with Diable

Nice course. But they should build in price of range balls to rate.Don't want to be knuckled and dimed at course.

This is like playing a tricked up course in a video game. It's fun to do at lest once, but no way you would want to play here all the time. The course is in great condition, would say Paiute is the only place I have played in the Vegas Area with better overall course conditions. However the course itself is literally target golf all the way around. The views are great, the course is fun, just don't expect to shoot within 10 shots of your normal score and take it for what it is.

Fun track, just make sure you are spot on, otherwise bring a lot if golf balls

Driving range in poor shape. 9 holes (Outlaw) in crummy shape from supposed "flood damage". Looked like a worn out muni. Other 9 (Diablo) in great shape. Spend your money somewhere else until Outlaw grows back.

I played both the Diablo and the Desperado.
It was a cold and windy day. This made the course much harder to play, what a challenge.
I would definitely come back to play this course in more clement weather.
The course was in very good shape for the time of year.

Would be best to move up a tee if you haven't played this course before. Would make forced carries easier and a lot more enjoyable outing.

One of the 9's we [played had much better conditions than the other. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were much better on one side compared to the second nine.

Good pace of play for 300 players... 4 Hours.
Very crowded for a Sunday.

Very much a target golf course. Only used the driver 4 times in the round.

Desperado was tough but fair. outlaw needed some care on fairways

Now the bad...
Need better management of your 27 holes. You can't double tee every nine. Impossible. Makes it miserable for everyone. Someone needs to take control of the 5 hr rounds....
