Desperado/Outlaw at Badlands Golf Club

This is a course that you should play once, to say you did it. It is a beautiful layout with some very interesting holes. The problem is that it is almost too difficult to be fun. If you miss a fairway, which most amateurs do, there is no runoff. Your ball just goes into little canyons and waste areas. Greens were in good shape, but they were stupid fast. It is kind of a gimmick course, so don't worry about your score. I would say that it is worth playing here once because it is a really neat layout, but don't get upset with your score at the end. Also, make sure you have a few balls.

Greens were in horrible shape. Divots everywhere it was like putting on gravel. The course had a good layout and was difficult for the average golfer. The greens is what really hurt our scores. If you want to play a beautiful golf course , go to Paiute wolf. Amazing shape and layout with a friendly staff.

I usually don't ripe a course but this is the worst excuse for a golf course. Target golf is just that but hitting the target and getting penalized by poor construction is unacceptable. NO ruff, just rocks. Targets are hard to see.

Fairways had way to many bare spots. Greens were fast and true but would not hold a shot.

Good news was I did get to witness one of the foursome get his first hole in one on #8. It did make us give a better rating than this course deserves

Apparent water shortage has caused many Vegas area courses to be quite dry. Played here before and remember very tough play...still very tough! But if you play conservative it can have some good moments. I would recommend.

This course was a lot of fun to play. Not long though. If you are going to play this course, and I do suggest it, be careful of the canyons and desert that you cannot see from the tee. Great course though. Greens were fast and the overall condition was fantastic.

Had an early tee time and played as single. Was impressed by the course conditions. Greens were rolling very true. Traps all raked. Fairways cut to perfect length. Some very interesting holes. Nice elevation changes. Being so close to the strip, real good venue for the price. Would definitely come back. Staff equally friendly including cart kids.

Way too many short par 4's and almost exclusively a target golf course. Greens were in ok shape but you do not need all of your clubs.

The outlaw nine was in awful shape for the price paid. The Diablo nine was better but by then I was quite disheartened.

Not my first time playing here but it has been a few years. I was paired up with some locals and we had a great time. It did make the course easier playing with people that knew where to aim your drive because there are a lot of blind drives. Had a great time and the course is in good shape with fast greens.

This a is a fun and challenging course. hit em str8 or pay the price

You gotta love this course. The fairways could have used a little more water and we conserve here.
We brought a guest who really enjoyed himself having not played many desert courses before.

This was one of the courses I had wanted to play and I wasn't disappointed. Beautiful scenery and not crammed in amongst the neighbourhood that it is located within. We had different skill level of players in our 4some and using different tee boxes the course was suitable for all. Would highly recommend this course to anyone that wants a great dessert golf experience.

Lots of blind shots to landing areas so club selection is the key.

I am a high handicapper (25) that played the whites and got no enjoyment at all out of it. Carries from the tee were about 5 yards too long on 4 or 5 holes and I had some good drives (for me) that resulted in a lost ball. It really was target golf to avoid the unforgiving waste areas and desert.
Diablo was diabolical.
Low handicappers would probably see it much differently.

Wee Ha....lots of fun and frustration. Beautiful Tee boxes, great layout, great big greens, what more could one ask for? well maybe were is the fairway on a few holes would help. Your eyes will see distances that are not actually that far away but seem that way with really wide fairways. Lots to enjoy on this BAD LAND.

Badlands certanly was a fitting name. Staff was great, weather awesome and the beer cold. Even with a hot deal I would never play this goat ranch again. Man was it shaggy

Gorgeous course surrounded by multi-million dollar homes. Course is in great condition, but very challenging for grinders like my foursome, as most holes have difficult carries to the green.

Very enjoyable round of golf. One of prettiest courses
I have ever played. Have to hit straight and be willing to use
every club in bag.
