Highland falls golf
The course was in good shape. Pace of play was good. The greens had been punched a week or so prior, so they did not roll as good as expected.

Friendly layout
Course knowledge is very helpful to score low here. Not a very long course but course position will reward a good approach into the green. Winds in the afternoon can make the course play long. The greens are very good, about a 9-10 on speed and not difficult to read. The views are great and the over all conditions was very good. Bunker conditions were good. Over all I really enjoyed my round. My index is a 7 and I shot my index.

Snotty marshal greg
Teed of at 2pm today. Enjoyed the round until the 11th fairway when Greg the Marshall approached us and told us to pick up our golf balls and proceed to the 12th tee. When we asked why he tersely replied that we were a hole behind and stated that it showed on the computer at the club house where the golf's carts were which we questioned due to the fact the carts do not have a GPS system. I explained we made the turn in 2 hours and 8 minutes which for a group of 4 comprised of 3 70 plus age group playing 90 degree rules was more than adequate considering we did not hold up any other groups. He proceed to get out of his cart and became aggressive towards us which was very upsetting and never experienced this behavior on a course before. Totally unprofessional of this Marshall. He ruined our golf game for the duration of the round. From this experience we will most likely not play this course in the future.

Great Course but Staff Friendliness Needs ALOT of Work
Great day for golf . However on hole 11 everything changed . Course was full and after teeing off in mid afternoon and tee time was delayed by 5 min. Making the turn after 9 in 2 hrs 10 min for 4 intermediate players after waiting a couple times for the group ahead of us. On hole 11 after our drives and approaching our balls to play our next shot. We were approached by the Course Marshall literally yelling at all of us that our group was holding up the entire course . Never in over 50 yrs of playing golf have any of us ever been treated in such a manner.
So we picked up our balls and moved on.
Too bad our remaining golf experience on a nice course was disrupted and ruined for the rest of our round .

Average Golf
The course was in decent condition but was very tightly packed into a Del Webb retirement community. There was a lack of mature landscaping and everything funneled to the fairways from both sides. The greens were in ok shape and rolled well. A couple of very scenic holes with views of the Vegas strip in the distance was nice. It was a fairly windy course and at least 10 holes played into a 1 club plus wind. Overall, for the price it was an average golf experience.
