March Highland Falls
Fun course, short and rewarded for a good shot, greens just coming out of winter good but difficult. Undulations make it difficult for first time player.
Good value
When the Bermuda grass comes back from winter the course should be excellent. Greens are in good shape for this time of year...
Graeat course for the price
Cousre was in great shape i love playing that course.
VERY NICE GOLF COURSE
weather fair a little cold light wind and showers at the end of afternoon
well quality of fairways and greens
the holes are often like but the golf course is very well.
Highland Falls golf course
The wife and I played this course this weekend. It was very nicely cared for the greens were amazing, FAST and hard, quite a bit different from where we normally play. The fairways were generous and the ruffs was forgivingly short. It reminds me of the courses in Palm Springs, the course was very pretty overall and had some great views of the Vegas area. Very fun place to play.
Top Notch Facility
Highland Falls did everything right. Buildings, Course, Appearance, Views, even the houses on the course - all beautiful and well cared for. Though the area is in a drought, the playing surfaces were well maintained and the course was a pleasure to play.
Good golf, plain and simple
Highland Falls Golf Club doesn’t have the bells and whistles. What this Billy Casper/Greg Nash designed layout does feature is good golf…plain and simple. Highland Falls is one of three courses in the Golf Summerlin family, along with Palm Valley and Eagle Crest. Highland Falls is the main favorite of locals and visitors. It’s a hilly, but fair course and has an 18th hole that is a dramatic closer. At 6,512 yards from the tips, it’s very playable for everyone and the price is always right.
great course for the money
I love this course, but the pace of play is always slow, which is exoected in a retired community
a little dried out
course needs a litlle maintenance. It was a little dry for this time period in vegas. Price was great, has special tee times on golf vegas but starting at 230 pm we barely finished in the dark.
Last few holes offer absolutely beautiful views
Just finishing reseeding and greens were very slow. Fairways were in good shape and bunkers were well maintained.
The course has some great views from come of the tees.
My wife and I played the course and enjoyed it very much. Some of the uphill par 4 holes were a bit challenging but still we enjoyed the course. Would absolutely play there again.
Golf Factory.....
I like this course and want to enjoy the experience more than I did. Too much confusion! When you arrive to check in, it's chaotic. Golf cart? Sure. Go outside and find one. When you want to hit some range balls, they give you a little token for about 20 balls and you're on your own. The range is great once you find out how to get to it. If you want to practice putting, there's a ridiculously sloped practice green that is too slow and too sloped to be of any practical use. When it's time to play, they announce your name over a loud speaker (all well and good) but if you've never been there before, you're not going to get any assistance in locating the first tee. What about the course itself? Fine layout, fun, challenging. But the greens?? Forget it. Too SLOW to be fun. You cannot stroke the ball. If they get organized about the check in process and can get the greens to strokable speed, you'll love it.
The course was in good shape considering the monsoon damage that the valley has been experiencing,
I booked a round for 2:40 and got out there about an hour early. The pro-shop worker let me off early and said if I went right then I would be ahead of a foursome. I had the course to myself and didn't have to wait on play until the 16th. It took 3 hours to play. The course provides two waters with the cart cooler. The course was in good shape with moderate evidence of the storm damages suffered lately. The round cost $15. Very well worth it!
Great Fun
Challenging course in great shape. Greens had recently been aerated but I'm sure they are great based on condition of rest of course. Beautiful views of Vegas and the mountains. Excellent value for the money....
Excellent Course, great character.
Great layout with every type of obstacle you can imagine.
A good course, fun to play
A good course, fun to play. I good condition for the most part. Very friendly and helpful staff. Played late on a hot day, and was by myself most of the time until I caught up with others on # 12. Had a great rate from Golf Now
Scenic views and elevated greens offer golfers a good golfing experience while in Las Vegas.
Some repairs needed on some greens but overall the course is in good condition. Blue tees offer challenge to single handicappers, while white tees can still be challenging with uphill and downhill lies and windy conditions even on the shortest par 4's. #17 par 3 offers a signature and challenging hole with water all along the right of the fairway. Must carry to a 2 tiered green.
Great value.
Overall a good round of golf, greens need some work
The pace was great and overall the course was in good shape but some of the greens had missing patches of grass. It also looked as if the grass on the greens were dying and the new (summer?) grass was just coming in.
