good day for golf
all in all a nice golf course. a few water holes but they do not really come into play unless you hit it sideways. not a lengthy course .the greens need work
This course has wide fairways with GRASS, not deasert!
Great course, panoramic views and a course in Vegas that actually has GRASS fairways all the way across so the houses are far enough away that it makes the course comfortable and forgiving.
Great course, very forgiving for medium slice or hook!
Will certainly return! The only negative is the dryness of some of the fairways. Understandable this time of year.
Greens and tees were fine. Loved the challenge of the greens.
Could Be Better
This course has a nice layout and some great views but the overall conditions are dry and show signs of heavy play. Took close to an hour to order two sandwiches due to the extremely slow Dolores.
Excellent course
First time playing this course, but certainly won't be the last!!!..Excellent layout with challenging holes and stunning views of the Las Vegas Strip..Highly recommended!!
pace of pkay
We were teamed with another 2some. We finished 18 in 3 hours 15 minutes. Great views and course was in great shape
March Highland Falls
Fun course, short and rewarded for a good shot, greens just coming out of winter good but difficult. Undulations make it difficult for first time player.
Good value
When the Bermuda grass comes back from winter the course should be excellent. Greens are in good shape for this time of year...
Graeat course for the price
Cousre was in great shape i love playing that course.
VERY NICE GOLF COURSE
weather fair a little cold light wind and showers at the end of afternoon
well quality of fairways and greens
the holes are often like but the golf course is very well.
Highland Falls golf course
The wife and I played this course this weekend. It was very nicely cared for the greens were amazing, FAST and hard, quite a bit different from where we normally play. The fairways were generous and the ruffs was forgivingly short. It reminds me of the courses in Palm Springs, the course was very pretty overall and had some great views of the Vegas area. Very fun place to play.
Top Notch Facility
Highland Falls did everything right. Buildings, Course, Appearance, Views, even the houses on the course - all beautiful and well cared for. Though the area is in a drought, the playing surfaces were well maintained and the course was a pleasure to play.
Good golf, plain and simple
Highland Falls Golf Club doesn’t have the bells and whistles. What this Billy Casper/Greg Nash designed layout does feature is good golf…plain and simple. Highland Falls is one of three courses in the Golf Summerlin family, along with Palm Valley and Eagle Crest. Highland Falls is the main favorite of locals and visitors. It’s a hilly, but fair course and has an 18th hole that is a dramatic closer. At 6,512 yards from the tips, it’s very playable for everyone and the price is always right.
great course for the money
I love this course, but the pace of play is always slow, which is exoected in a retired community
a little dried out
course needs a litlle maintenance. It was a little dry for this time period in vegas. Price was great, has special tee times on golf vegas but starting at 230 pm we barely finished in the dark.
Last few holes offer absolutely beautiful views
Just finishing reseeding and greens were very slow. Fairways were in good shape and bunkers were well maintained.
The course has some great views from come of the tees.
My wife and I played the course and enjoyed it very much. Some of the uphill par 4 holes were a bit challenging but still we enjoyed the course. Would absolutely play there again.
Golf Factory.....
I like this course and want to enjoy the experience more than I did. Too much confusion! When you arrive to check in, it's chaotic. Golf cart? Sure. Go outside and find one. When you want to hit some range balls, they give you a little token for about 20 balls and you're on your own. The range is great once you find out how to get to it. If you want to practice putting, there's a ridiculously sloped practice green that is too slow and too sloped to be of any practical use. When it's time to play, they announce your name over a loud speaker (all well and good) but if you've never been there before, you're not going to get any assistance in locating the first tee. What about the course itself? Fine layout, fun, challenging. But the greens?? Forget it. Too SLOW to be fun. You cannot stroke the ball. If they get organized about the check in process and can get the greens to strokable speed, you'll love it.
