Golf Summerlin - Palm Valley Course

The temperature was great and the conditions on the golf course were very good. The only hangup for the day was a couple of slow groups in front of us.

One of the best courses in town. I would play this course over 99% of the courses in Vegas

This course is an excellent course, however on this particular day there were so many old people golfing that the course was the slowest round I have ever tried to play. We were only able to complete 6 holes before having to hang it up and leave the course. Those 6 holes took us easily 2 hours. At this rate, we would have been laying a 6 plus hour round of golf. It was pitiful. We called the course marshall who came out and said that was just the way it was, and the slowdown was caused by people teeing off early. That explanation made absolutely no sense.

This is a great course to play while visiting Las Vegas. The course is beautiful, the greens are in great condition and roll true...

The staff was friendly courteous and very accommodating...

We will definitely come back on our next visit

This course is exceptionally well maintained, and the design is great - lots of bunkers, undulating fairways, water hazards, and well designed and challenging greens that are as smooth as a baby's bottom. great value as well - definitely a favorite for me!!

Played an enjoyable round of golf in 3.5 hours. Staff was professional and very friendly. Course had been over seeded so cart path only but it was not a problem. I will return.

I think for the price and the pace of play was great. The marshal was super nice. We played during over seed season, so get ready to clean and place your ball. Greens are a little slow for my liking, because they are not shaved and rolled them. Yes, get ready to do some walking as it's cart path only. With the over seeding

Overall the course was in great shape, I know they recently overseeded and it was cart path only, but I play a lot of golf throughout the year and I think this course was in great shape compared to most this time of the year. Nice guy checking you in, I do agree its a drag that they charge you extra to get some range balls to warm up (should at least include a couple) but overall nice course, challenging and a little long. Would definately recommend you play this one now and again.

First day open after seeding.Cart path only till grass fills in more .Staff including cart employees were the best I've had in Vegas.

I really like this course and wish it was closer to my side of town. Unfortunately, they were preparing it for overseed and I guess a day or two before I played it, the shaved the fairways down to bare dirt. The greens were still excellent. If they would have told me they had shaved it down, I would have booked another place to play.
When you make a reservation at Highland Falls, they give you range balls as part of your green fees. Not a Palm Valley. So be prepared to shell out a few bucks to warm up. Also, at Highland Falls they give you a couple of bottles of water. Not at Palm Valley. And neither of the courses has the jugs of water every couple of holes, so be prepared to buy water or bring your own.
Lastly, the staff at Palm is not nearly as friendly as at Highland Falls. I would recommend that the GM at Palm send his team up the street to see how a course staff should act towards their guests.

Tee boxes and fair ways were terrible, the fairways were like playing in the dirt all day. Greens are very fast, I don't think they paid there water bill because it looks like it hasn't been watered in a month! 35 dollars on golfnow and was more if I paid at the course at 9:30 am thought I was getting a great deal, man was I wrong.

This course is really fun to play during the fall, winter and spring before the heat sets in! Conditions in July and August are tough and the fairways are not in good shape. I'd stay away in late August while over-seeding is happening.

The course was preparing for over seeding so I did not expect lush conditions. It is a nice course with a challenging layout.

COURSE WAS VERY GOOD TO PLAY SOME WATER TO WATCH OUT FOR AND SOME GOOD DOGLEGES TO WATCH FOR TO THE 18TH IS A GOOD DOGLEG TO WATCH OUT FOR WATER ON THE WRIGHT
