Golf Summerlin - Palm Valley Course

This course is a great play. The fairways are in perfect shape, and the greens are well kept. There are plenty of elevation changes, giving you great views of the city. It is playable to average golfers and fun and challenging for those that play often. The staff is very friendly and prices very reasonable.

Played on Monday March 22. Greens were the best we played so far in Vegas. Fairways were nice too.

This course winds between homes. Not a lot of elevation change. Fast but good greens. Bunkers typical of Vegas, crushed gravel. A chip shot works best.

The course winds between the homes, so is rather narrow, but comfortable....is in good condition, nice variety of holes, pace of play OK, pro shop friendly.

Course is tough but fair. In good overall shape, but greens need I bit of work.

I've been making part of retirement playing every course in Vegas. It was Palm Valley's turn. The weather was perfect. The fairways were green and the rough was brown, but it did not effect play much. Greens were fast. On water holes they do have a coot problem (but who doesn't have a coot problem with water.) We were paired up with two other guys ... very nice out of town players. Pace of play was a little slow at first but did pick up after a couple of holes. I will play there again and three putt fewer greens. My only criticism is the restaurant. Great looking place. We arrived an hour and 15 minutes early so we could eat. It took an hour to be served our meals. My salad was fine but my buddies eggs and potatoes were virtually inedible and cold. Play the course, skip the food.

Good environment and good fairway and putting greens. Good maintenance. Good price.

Very few golfers on course, starter told us to go to the first tee and start whenever we wanted. (We were almost 2 hours early.) An older gentleman was at the tee and we joined him. Great idea. He was a local willing to share his wealth of course knowledge. Helped us play much better.

A single caught us and joined us. He was also a local and willing to help. Great course for a couple of out of towners.

A well maintained local course. Good mountain views. Generally wide fairways.Pro shop staff were pleasant. All in all a very enjoyable afternoon

The course was good. Too bad I didn't do well. With the rough being dormant and yellow, made finding a ball difficult. STAY on the fairways. Some water very close to the edge of fairways.

Enjoyed my first round off 2015.The greens are rolling true and guick..overall good shape.

Course in good shape, greens are fairly fast and roll true. Rough is dried Bermuda that is like a sponge, difficult to play from. Unfortunately the round was very slow in excess of 5 hours and never saw a marshal the entire round.

For $20 you'll never find a better deal. Even at $50 this course is a good value. The greens are fast and fun to putt. Course is in great conditions. Pretty straight forward golf. Nothing spectacular but playable and enjoyable.

I'm actually impressed with the conditions of the course the greens are rolling smooth and lightning fast. A must play.

This course has to go into heavier rotation, member driven course where people don't hold you up not a drunken hangout for guys who play twice a year. Despite the course being fairly busy we were done in just over three hours. Fun layout as well.

Everything was in good shape.The tee boxes were tidy (one of my pet peeves, messy tee boxes). Some narrow holes and a lot of elevated greens made it interesting. A fair pace of play was welcomeand so was the scenery.

While I was a single playing for free on veterans day, I took the liberty to pass a few Foursomes. I found the course to be in excellent condition. The greens were very soft, but not too slow. I would definitely recommend and play this course again.
