The par-72 course offers 7,014 yards of challenging and fun golf. Golden Bear Golf Club at Indigo Run's design emphasizes strategy rather than power. Sand and water hazards add interest to the course. In addition to providing a great game of golf, the course also has picturesque scenery with the many oaks and pines that snake though the course. It has been named one of America's Top 100 Courses priced under $100.

A most enjoyable experience at Golden Bear

Beautiful course and amazing layout with strategically placed bunkers, water and contoured fairways that blended into the landscape, trees, etc. This is clearly a course that causes you to think on every hole in terms of shot decisions and while you may adhere to the old adage that trees are 90% air would suggest you rethink that when playing Golden Bear! We totally enjoyed our round and will make sure we play this course again in future trips to Hilton Head.

Favorite Course

This is turning out to be my favorite course on Hilton Head, based on condition, layout and friendly and helpful staff. This is a very good value for the money. A good time from the bag drop to the after round beverage.

Bad golf on a wonderful course

Cart and check in guys were friendly and helpful. We played with two other golfers and had a good time despite my swing leaving me. The fairways, greens, and bunkers were in great condition. A few players ahead of us failed to rake a few bunkers. We stayed and ate dinner afterward but fair warning, the grill closes at four thirty.

Perfect day

Great staff, great course, 0 complaints. After 2 of our 3 some was running late the starter & staff was very understanding to get us out in a timely manner. Greens were pure and running great. Green fairways. Will be back!

Class management right from when you pull up to when you drop off. Course was scenic and in exceptional shape for the time of year. Some construction on cart paths but not issues. Great value for for having Jacks name associated with the course.
