Great fairway Condition

Played 11 rounds on Hilton Head Island public courses February/March 2024 and the Fairways on Golden Bear were by far in the best condition..

Pace of play was horrendous

3 hours to play the front 9. No Marshalls on the court to attempt to did things up. Mostly locals I’m guessing as they get a discount. Place of play essentially ruined the experience.

Golden Bear Indigo Run

This golf course didn’t disappoint. Very challenging but fair layout. Course was in pristine condition. Greens rolled very well and held . Pace of play was just fine. All in all a great experience.

March Golf @ Golden Bear

Enjoyed playing the course would come back. each hole was unique and provided challenge’s to keep thru all 18 holes. Only negative was pace of play…a lot of people playing this day.

Everything was great but unfortunately we got stuck behind 2 groups of very slow golfers. Never saw a cart move more than 20 yards. 2 club changes and a new hack. No way anyone in the group in Front broke 100 for 9. 2 hrs 40 minutes to play front 9. They left and we play back in 1 1/2 hours.
