Oyster Reef Golf Course

The course was in fantastic shape. Staff was very accommodating. Would recommend to anyone.

Course conditions were good with the exception of slow greens and some under repaired areas on the greens. But I recommend this as a course to visit while on HHI.

We loved our round and thought the holes had challenges, especially the numerous sand traps. All greens were well protected by bunkers. Pace of play for us was great. We didn’t wait on any hole and were done in 4 hours.

They don’t have GPS so bring your own! The cart lady came round pretty frequently. Stay hydrated and park in the shade!

The greens were quite slow as they are trying not to cut too short and have them get burned. Once you got used to them it was a bit easier. Practice range is decent.

I’d recommend this course and I would play again next time in HHI.

Played many times in the past and feel conditions now are the best I've seen

Course is wide open, but also with its own challenges. One of the only courses on the island with an ocean view on one of the par 3s. Negatives - Carts didn’t include screens tracking distances, not that’s necessary but seems standard at all courses now. Pace wasn’t bad but waited on most tee boxes on the back 9. Hole 9 green is temporary. Driving range beat to heck

Pros - Course layout is nice with good amount of challenges. Perfect warm up round if you’re spending a week on the island

Don't waste your money. Not enough time to list all of the shortcomings, so i will just say the course was in very bad condition from tee box to green.

Very enjoyable course. Great shape and condition as well. Don't understand why on a Sunday at 1p were there multiple singles playing? Of course let them play through but why on a Sunday is this happening.

Favorite course on HHI since a young teenager. Now in my 50's and bringing my son and family to play.

The course layout was solid, The fairways were I. Good condition but the greens were very slow and needed some work. That said I enjoyed the round and would play it again.

Played on July 4th in the morning . It was hot and humid but we got around in four hours. Staff was super friendly

Course was in great shape.

Suggestions

- trash cans at every hole

- more frequent cart girl visits when hot

- complimentary sweat towels or cooled towels when hot

- 165$ in the AM vs $69 at 2PM.just doesn't seem right

Layout and conditions of the course was fine. We played shortly after a rainstorm. The course drained very well. We were not off the cart path, but should have when we made the turn.

We went off #10 and when we made the turn, the starter put someone in front of us on #1 that completely slowed our round. That was WRONG and should never happen to a foursome that is playing in 4 hours or less. That’s a pure money grab by the course. .

Oyster Reef a great layout to test your iron play and fairway woods. Course not for super long Drivers . Excellent condition

Staff was extremely professional. Course was pristine and offered challenge. Can’t wait to play again next year.
