Oyster Reef Golf Course

We mentioned to the Marshall after the first nine took over 2.5 hours to try and get the groups ahead of us to pick up the pace. The men right in front of us were hitting from a tee box that was too long for them, they would wait too long to hit their shots and were playing 2 or 3 balls each. The Marshall didn’t do anything. Very disappointed.

Teed off at noon and starter said they had 215 reservations that day. Front 9 took 21/2 hours. Due to slow beginner players ahead, had to wait ever shot. At the turn the Starter offered rain check if you wanted .

Back nine clear sailing and did not have to wait for a single shot, great fun. Back nine was best layout very challenging.

Greens putted true and were in good shape especially considering the level of play it gets.

Overall well run course, I will return.

Nice course, well maintained, helpful staff, good pace of play. Nice break from northern Michigan.

Pace was tough. Many folks had to jump a beginner couple.

This was a great course with a really fun layout. Staff was welcoming and pace was great even on a packed day. Will come back!

We played Two courses in Hilton Head and this course was by far our favorite! Beautiful lay out and Staff was great! Totally recommend this course!

It was a very nice course lots of dog legs, which were unexpected. A lot of the par fours the ladies tees were at the same place as the men’s tees. Nor fair as some of the par 4s were longer than normal.

Excellent and fair layout! Beautiful hole with view of Port Royal Sound.

The clubhouse had an excellent selection of beers on tap!

We played golf three days last week and this was our Favorite course.

Layout works well for beginner to medium skilled players. A few very scenic holes. A great place to enjoy a round of golf. Greens in good condition. Staff friendly and helpful. Solid value fior the money.

Great course. Well maintained. Good value. Driving range was pretty beat up. Might want to consider mats or move the tees around more.
