Royal St. Augustine Golf and Country Club

I am about a 5 handicap, but I can see that this place would be very VERY hard for a higher handicapper! As long as you don't take yourself too seriously you will enjoy it! But bring a few extra balls and some humility. Greens were good, tee boxes need some TLC. This was my 2598th different golf course played in my life (IG @thequestfor3000), and it is well above the Mendoza line.

Being balls and study the lay out! Lots of target golf shots and strange landing areas. Can be penalized for good shots.

Greens are nice, fairways are good, tee boxes need work. Almost has a links type feel. Very narrow yet challenging and very playable. Course is spread out very far and they need extra signage for those first time players.

Course is in decent shape overall greens were excellent tee boxes needed some work. There was no Ranger and we had a five some which held up five groups at one point which really kind of stunk because it was a cold windy day.

Course is tight so position is key.

The Staff alone is worth going back to play. They are amazing. Greens are fast and in great condition. A joy to play here.

Course was packed by slow players which ruined the flow. Greens were in great shape. Rest of the course was in decent shape hit or miss on tee boxes.

Price was very good on a deal from golf now and course factors were somewhat over looked because of the price

Low maintenance over rated cost too high for course conditions

There was only People playing the course. They said we had the cost to ourselves which we did. I would not recommend going here. The conditions were not great at all. The green had a lot of disease on them. Greens didn’t have disease did roll good. Conditions around the course were horrible. The person working there was very nice and the bartender. It was no cart girl..

Interesting course and in decent condition.

Pace of play was great as we began at noon

Fairways thin grass in places but we roll the ball over when needed. Price is right.

Hasn't been long since the hurricane but course needs work.

For the price, this course is wonderful. The greens roll true, there is water on just about every hole. Don't expect to hit driver off the tee and enjoy the challenge

If you like a challenging course this course is for you. Plenty of water, trees through neighborhoods etc. you have it all. Three Par 3’s front and back which I really liked. For the price it’s definitely worth the challenge and the staff was friendly.

Course still has a lot of repairs left to do. Play smart are goodbye golf ball.
