About
Located in Florida’s oldest city, Royal St. Augustine Golf & Country Club offers a glimpse of the area’s lush foliage and native marshlands. The course has a visually interesting layout with elevated, sprawling greens and a variety of bunker shapes and sizes. The moguled fairways and sandy waste areas are two other distinguishing features of the course. It is a tight course with large greens and gentle undulations. The layout provides a “target-golf” experience that puts a premium on accuracy and distance control. The numerous bends in the course in combination with the blustery winds also makes proper club selection very important.

Back 9 are ok
very friendly staff. we only played the back nine. conditions are all in all ok. more water and care for the fairways would help. Greens are in average conditions. We played there several times over the last years. The course layout is fine but the course conditions got worse from year to year. Altough the prize went down too, it is a pity to see. I hope you will raise the money to renovate, because the potential is still there. what never changed is the kindness of your staff and the excellent offers in the clubhouse!

cool coarse with terrible greens.
this course has not been rated by the usga so you can post any scores played here which is a big bummer for a guy like me who travels here in the off season back home.
extremally cool layout with plenty of risk / reward holes. a lot of character .
unfortunately the greens have been in terrible shape both times I've played here. with in the last 2 years. with that said it is one of the lowest priced rounds near by.

Fairways, green and tee boxes all need to improve. Like the challenging layout though.

Nice Early Spring Outing
Great March weather for a round of golf. Course was busy late morning, but moved along well.
Greens marginal, fairways and tees were fair. Good deal for the cost.

Hidden gem
This course is a hidden gem.
The course layout is fantastic, each hole gets better and better. What a great time we had playing it
The fairways can be a bit tight, but fair.
The greens were in better condition I. The front nine, not sure why the back was so different, a bit uneven and less green.
Overall play was stymied by a couple of twosomes that refused to hook up. In a world of Firestone’s, that just slows things down
Book now and enjoy this course, we will be back.

Course condition
The greens were terrible was like putting on a pot hole surface...the course itself is challenging if it was maintained in a decent condition

Great experience
The staff was more than wonderful!!!
The course is a challenge for a finesse game. Narrow fairways and fun approach shots make you pay attention. Protected greens and water hazards add to the fun.
The greens are in bad shape. The bunkers were not great. But, to play that course at that price is awesome!
Golf is a fun game. It doesn’t have to be pricy.

Dog Track
The worst golf experience that I have ever encountered. Most greens were pocked marked and basically hit and hope. In my considered opinion if the owner does not spend serious money on this course he will lose it to weeds and a lack of irrigation. the only thing that saved our day was that I invited a father and son to play and they were delightful. NEVER coming back to this course. Would recommend that Golf Pass take it off of there list of places to play at any price. Garbage.
