About
The course at the Wedgefield Golf & Country Club, although suitable for all golfers, is most appropriate for intermediate players. The affordably priced Wedgefield Golf Club used to be known as Rocket City and Cape Orlando. The course has a classic-Florida style layout with medium sized greens that are guarded by bunkers and fairways lined with cypress trees. There is water on the golf course but it is not a significant factor in the game. However, there is one hole, the par-3 sixth hole that is surrounded on three sides by water. Wedgefield Golf & Country Club, in addition to the course, has a chipping area and putting green as well as a golf school.

Great layout
The course was in awesome shape. Great layout
Long and short par threes. Left and right doglegs. Greens quick but not exceptionally fast. Well hunkered greens with good sand.
Nice course.
Nice course for your $. Hard sand bunkers. Nice challenge.
Good layout and greens
The course needs TLC but worth playing. Undulating greens and forced carries makes up for tee boxes and fairways.
On course amenities
Would have been nice to have some ball washers and water stations.
Great conditions
Always a good pace of play, in great shape, and some of the best condition greens around. Highly recommend
play here monthly
excellent greens and other conditions quite good...worth checking out and the drive out is not that bad...take HW 50 or the Beachline to HW520...
Reasonable price, nice layout. Challenging. Staff very friendly. Would come back again.
Small greens
Greens are in good shape they Roll true tee boxes ok fairways are good,
The bad thing there is no water to drink on the course course or beverage cart , we play the front 9 in 2 hrs
Then when we arrive to the 10 tee we find a 5 some on the tee , never saw them in front the
Course don’t have a starter no ranger
As you can imagine 3 hrs in the back 9
Nightmare
Would recommend this to a friend if the price was cheaper, seemed a little over-priced.
Also, there was a guy (assume he was from the neighborhood of the course) scooping golf balls out of a body of water we had to hit over while we were playing, He was literally in harms way (besides being distracting and tacky). That activity should be stopped.
Enjoyable course to play
Course is well maintained,greens very good, roles true. Fairways are generous with tight lies.
