Wedgefield Golf Club

The course is in great condition considering the drought. The greens are fabulous and the bunkers are well maintained. Pace of play was excellent and it's a great bargain. Good test from 6400 yards. Great layout with many interesting holes. That part 3 over water is way tougher than a handicap of 14! Very good carts.

The course is a great value for the cost. The greens are in great shape, the fairways are nice, there were some areas where the grass is thin and hard ,but for the majority of holes, more grass, than dirt/hard pan.

The tee boxes are in ok shape. The course doesn't have a ranger, so pace of place is at the discretion of the patrons on the course, hopefully the group in front of you are considerate and don't search too long for their balls and keep it moving.

I haven't played here in a couple years because it had become a goat ranch. WOW what a facelift. The greens are the best I have ever seen them and the fairways were in very good shape. The only complaint I have was somehow a eightsome held up several people. I have never seen 8 playing before. The owner went out and talked to them and I don't believe that will happen again. The course really surprised me how nice they have made it. The y layout has always been great. Congratulations to the owner and grounds crew for a job well done.

besides no water barrels to refill your water and slow pace of play wedgefield is a 10/10

Met a really nice fellow by the name of Robert on the practice putting green. He gave me a little course info. I don't think there was a hole that I didn't like. More than a few fun par fives. A good challenge from 6600 yd. Yes of course was a little dry but it hasn't rained. Nevertheless, the greens were spectacular. I really like the design of the course. Well placed bunkers. Played with a local regular by the name of david. It was an awesome day and got around in three and a half hours.

We like this course, but like all other courses in central Florida, we need RAIN bad. Hopefully this weekend we get some. Fairways are hard and dry and greens are long to try and save them from the heat. Fingers crossed

Great price for good course. Greens were great, fairways good and tee boxes, fair.

We had a great day to golf and enjoyed the round. The front nine had green fairways mostly, as well as the green greens that ran fairly fast and smooth. The greens have a bit of winter spots here and there on both front and back nine. The fairways on the back nine were drier with less evidence of green...all due to the great need for rain!! We did not wait to tee off and the whole round ran smoothly, but, do watch the bunkers. They are well placed and it seemed we hit quite a few of them. Also lost a couple of balls in the water of ponds and a creek that runs through. Would recommend play here for the price!

The course is well kept! Carts are a throw back as they are gas. But it’s peaceful, quiet and fun.

Very nice new greens. They're really trying to bring the course back to much better than average play. No place better for the money.

The layout was nice and the greens were in Very Good shape—-fairways and tee boxes no so much— badly in need of some weed killer and some rain. Must be putting all there water resources on the greens.
