About
The course at the Wedgefield Golf & Country Club, although suitable for all golfers, is most appropriate for intermediate players. The affordably priced Wedgefield Golf Club used to be known as Rocket City and Cape Orlando. The course has a classic-Florida style layout with medium sized greens that are guarded by bunkers and fairways lined with cypress trees. There is water on the golf course but it is not a significant factor in the game. However, there is one hole, the par-3 sixth hole that is surrounded on three sides by water. Wedgefield Golf & Country Club, in addition to the course, has a chipping area and putting green as well as a golf school.

Coming back after it rains
Like many Florida courses, at the end of the dry season they are hardpan. The greens were in good shape and a low, hard shot would roll forever.
Once the fairway grass comes back, it will be a nice course to play.
Dry fairways
Course is very dry and hard but they keep the greens in very good condition. I miss the resaurant.
Greens and tee boxes were green but fairway’s were dried out. I hear it has not rained in 23
days.Overall the conditions were good.
Good course but still needs grass in fairways
Most of the greens were in good shape, not overerly fast. However the fairways and tee boxes needed more grass. Pace of play was great as we finished in 3 hrs and 10 minutes.
Very good course
Course is in very good condition, considering the lack of rainfall in the area. Greens are in great condition. Staff is always friendly and accomodating.
Great for the price
Tee boxes were fine. Fairways great. Greens were very well maintained played very true. Tight course. Gas carts.
Desperation Only
If you cannot find a tee time anywhere else in Orlando and must play, only then would I consider this course.

Good course
Course is in very good condition, considering we have had no rain. Staff is always friendly and pace of play very good. Always like playing this course.
Interesting
Have played here a few times this Winter and have enjoyed the layout despite some windy conditions. Greens are consistent and the fairways have more grass than many others in the area. Interesting holes that can be VERY tough with the wind. Good value for the money
