Golfer Reviews
Very Nice Course
The course is well maintained. Sand was nice and fluffy. Easy to hit explosion shots. Typical Del Webb community. Groups that only know close friends and neighbors. Was placed in a shot gun start.. All the privately owned carts made the club house area like a beehive Good thing about that was there was plenty of parking spaces, but they still ran out. Large landing areas and the fairways were in great shape. Greens were true and quick.
Great Course but the Amenities suck
I’ve played many courses in the Desert and this course is very beautiful well maintained challenging and very very worth while playing. The big problem is the amenities there are no GPS’s on the carts there no water on the course and if your hungry there’s no food except a Pizza place at the club where it will take a half an hour to get a sandwich. There are no marshals and no food or drink carts a little uncivilized for my experience
Fun afternoon
Made late morning tee time for 1:18pm. Played front nine in under two hours then waiting on every hole. For two groups on par threes. We only finished 16 before dark. That’s was aided by everyone heading to the barn and it was a par 3. Surprised no Marshall on the course in the afternoon. The course was a fun layout with a friendly staff.

Pace of play
This should be a course that plays in 4 hours. It is not long and not much trouble. However, the lack of attention to pace of play takes away from thhe enjoyment of the game. There was 5-15 minute wait on all par 3's. After 41/2 hours we still had 3 holes left so we left the course without finishing. There is no attention from the course management, signage, score card, and lack of course marshall all lead to slow play.
Great value and well-maintained
Our foursome of mid-range handicaps 10 to 20 had a terrific day on this beautiful and very playable course
enjoyed the whole experience.
Everything went smoothly. Always enjoy the course except Pete Dye's raised greens. :) Played with another great couple who were playing for the first time and they enjoyed the course also.
Worth it!
I enjoyed the layout and the challenges. I waa fortunate and paired with someone that knows where the turns and hazards are. Delightful experience overall, and I finished with the same ball I started with...yea!
Great day
Started at 12:40, had to hustle to finish by dark. Made it even with a few slow pokes. Want to play again.
Seems to be a communication problem between Golf Now & their pro shop, had confirmation on my phone, no problem then.
Amazing
This was my first time at that course and I will definitely play there again a few time. The greens and fairways were in perfect condition.
Challenging Greens
The course was in excellent condition, tee to green. The greens were the biggest challenge with many saucer shaped and elevated. Once on the green you needed to be on the right side of the hole as green speed was fast.
Mountain Vista Santa Rosa Golf Course
The course was very pretty and in great shape. The greens were fast and running true and had many difficult breaks that were challenging and not easy to read. The pace of play was slower than would have liked, but managed to finish in about 4 1/2 hours. I am looking forward to playing this course again and would recommend it to anyone.
Greens super fast....just the way I like 'em!
Course in very nice shape. Greens rolling about 11. Fairly easy track but trouble lurks so beware!
Santa Rosa
This is one of the most pristine courses that I have personally played! Well manacured with the right amount of challenges. Cant wait to return and play again!
Pristine condition Santa Rosa
Very nice course , liked the mixed tee box On a shorter course , gives you a nice option to cover most golfers levels
The greens are in great condition. Ran very true
