Mountain Vista Golf Club - Santa Rosa Course

We enjoyed the course, and it was in great shape. However, the staff acted like we were intruding on them and their club.

It was a Shot Gun start we not told that and than because of weather cart path only for full round.

A well kept course, greens great really long day because of the walking.

Both my wife and I really enjoy playing this course. We find it fairly play friendly with some very challenging holes. Will certainly try to play several more rounds at this course.

Decided to give this course a shot and we were happy we did. Decent layout. Greens were quick and rolled true. Not of the same caliber as the high end courses in the area but great value for a mid range course.

Yes, we played this course for the first time and it was very forgiving with wide fairways although the greens were extremely fast we never the less enjoyed ourselves immensely....

Booked on golfnow.com. ...great price.. $45.....a little slow...4 1/2 hours but course was in great shape and is a good challenge. Would definitely play again.

The course was excellent. Over seeded from side to side. Greens excellent. A fantastic day on a great layout. Will play Mountain Vista more this year. Both courses.

My wife and I played with a member couple. Most gracious, they both took the time to give us the necessary course tips to make our round more enjoyable and relaxed. The course itself is in great shape so hats off to the greens keeper and all the staff involved in maintaining this Billy Casper gem. On the surface this track may appear rather benign but there are sufficient hazards to keep you honest and the greens will constantly put you to the test. Enjoyed the round so much we played it again the following day again with locals who provided the impetus to take our game up a notch.

If your down this way take the time to play this one and who knows you may even hook up with a local/member who will make this truly memorable.

It's a pretty course with some nice water features. Challenging enough for me and my wife but not the kind of course that bests you up. #10 is tricky with water right and sand left but other than that, not too tough. People were very nice, not much in the way of amenities. No cart, no one to greet you or help with clubs coming or going although they will wipe your clubs down at 18. Lots of wide-open fairways. If your a scratch golfer looking for the ultimate challenge, this isn't it. If you looking for a pleasant round, it's worth a look. Finished in 3:45 on a Sunday, sunny and 75 with almost no wind. Life's good.

Surprised to be inside the Del Webb Sun City community, but glad it happened. The course is a very nice moderately challenging track depending on the tee's. Played forward with ladies, but seemed like it would be challenge from back tees. Great conditions, great views and hole designs, nice an open for all handicaps.

Course was in great shape. Speed of play was great. We teed off at 7:48 and hardly saw anyone else on course. Looked like more people after we finished our round.

Very good layout, with tees like Gold that would challenge the average golfer. Course in nice shape greens quick and true. Will play again on next visit to desert

The course is very pretty and well maintained. Fairways are quite wide leaving lots of room for error.

Great course but play was very slow due to cart path only. Also, requested service from cart service but no one showed. Players in front of us were very inefficient on the cart path only play. Really... you only take one club with you across the course then figure it is the wrong club?

Shot gun start after the club's men members morning tourney. Well managed buy a great staff.
