The Senator Course at Shula's Golf Club

Tees, fairways and greens in good shape. Cart paths show their wear, but fairways were open to carts. First nine has few water hazzards, but second nine has water on nearly every hole with potential layups. Bring your GPS to determine pin and layup yardage. Even with our GolfNow prepay... they gave us each a small bucket of balls for the range.

The greens were in great shape. Fast but very receptive to balls landing on the green. Fairways are a bit brown and patchy in some spots.

this course is overadvertised but is not at the level we would expect for the price we pay

Nice staff fast play today but the fairways are in rough shape and the bunkers were unrated.

Many positive comments, only three negative. Need to find a way to allow carts to the driving range; there were no food carts or food available at clubhouse during our round; could not use the restrooms on the course.

I was a wonderful afternoon to play! The very first 9 holes where a good challenge. 2nd half was a challenge. You need to sharpened your skills to get your game strong. This field is very good to measure your skills definetly not for a novice player! I had a hard time keeping up with it an I'm not consider my self green. The people was very nice and help full. Over all it was a great experience.

Nice layout. Greens were outstanding. Fast, true & pure. Grass was non existent on most fairways. Easier to hit from the rough. Tee boxes were in progress. Not much sand in the bunkers, but well maintained.

Staff is very friendly and laid back. Not like other stuffy staffs in the area. Played while on vacation. Older facility, fairways in OK condition but greens were Superb. Reasonable lengths from the whites for us older folks and plenty of challenges especially on the back to make it enjoyable. Definitely good course for the money.

The course was OK for the $40 I paid. First day down from Cleveland's snow I was hoping for better but after playing a couple more courses you get what you pay for. The course could certainly use some TLC.

Our group thought this course was a good round for the money. Some areas need more attention, but many holes afforded us attractive views and challenging shot making.

This has promise but thin tee boxes and fairways mean bumping the ball to some grass to hit a second shot. No scoring computer in the club house and driving range should be closed for OSHA.

The layout was fine and the staff very friendly. The tee boxes had long grass on some of the ladies ones. The sloping greens were a nice challenge. Would return for sure.

The cousre is in great shape. The problem we had was they where cutting the greens whille we where playing @ 1 pm on Thursaday. The starter was letting single player play made play very slow.

Beautiful fairways and greens. Love playing here and will play again soon.

The pace of play moved fairly well, and the course was in good shape. Tons of water on the back nine, which made it challenging. Played from the furthest back tees, it seemed like each tee length allowed for different challenge. Not sure it is worth the full price fare, we paid about $43 and that seemed like a good/fair price.

The course is in good condition but the greens are in excellent shape. The ball rolls very pure.

The course was not in very good condition, especially the front nine. This course gets a lot of play and it shows..fairways and tee boxes were spotty. The layout wasn't bad. I would not have paid $90 to play it, but it wasn't too bad for the $45 with Golf Now.

Nice course, in good condition, fairways pretty good with a few rough spots. Greens very nice with a lot of slope-- not easy to adjust to playing for the first time. Back 9 more challenging due mainly to more water. Enjoyed the island green on the front. Nice scenery but a little noisy from the freeway. Would play again for under $50.

Another fabulous day at Shula's - course is in very good shape. We've been golfing in southern Florida for 3 weeks and this is our favorite. Give it a try ~ with a special rate from golf now it can't be beat!!!

Although the tee boxes are not that good but the greens are good, smooth, with enough elevations. Some holes especially the back 9s have a lot of water hazards so overall the course is kind of challenging and fun to play. I will definitely play here again when the price is right.
