The Senator Course at Shula's Golf Club

the golf course is just next to a highway that can be heard from everywhere... the back nine is much harder with most of the water hazards, than the front nine. greens are ok. the greenfee is too expensive... for this price, you will get something else at jacaranda, or the plantation...

Great value for your money. Peter, staff member, was extremely nice, especially since I was late for my tee time.
The only negative thing I would state if there are no yardage markers. Yardage markers are the standard marks in the middle of fairways, 100, 200, etc. No other markers.
I definitely would play again, when I visiting the Miami area.

I was able to get a great deal from golf now that made this course a steal.. The facilities need to be redone ( driving range and club house) but course was in good shape and everyone that worked there couldn't have been more helpful or courteous.

Course was in good shape. There were some problems with using golfNow at the course but were quickly resolved. Beer cart was timely. The only complaint would be --no ranger on the course to help the speed of play. There were 4 clowns ahead of us By 4th hole there was a par 5 and 1/2 of next par four open. I'm not a great golfer but I don't hold up play. A ranger could have improved the situation.

Not ready for golfers, true golfers. Single paired up with a one handed swinging golfer with money, but no game. Was a five hr plus round. Saw no cart girl. Cafeteria matron gave snide remark about warm beer. First time playing there in ten years. Was expecting more improvements that I didn't see. No GPS, stalled out golf carts. Better than expected green From the rest of the course. From my memory I thought this would be a prestigious course, its not.

Very nice course overall and the greens were superb 10-12 on stimp and in great condition. Fairways and tee boxes could use a little more attention, but nothing too bad. Driving range is terrible!

New greens are really good. The fairways are coming along nicely. Enjoyed today days round very much.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience at the Senator Golf course. The greens were good with average speed but some of the best in appearance, playability for south Florida. We would recommend it and will definitely return for another round in the future.

Excellent greens. Out nine holes are quiet easy, in nine are more challening.

Terrible smell due to use of chemicals near the water hazards.

This course shut the back nine on us - due to poor drainage - and still charged $70+. Also was given a cart that didn't steer or drive straight. Ppl are friendly, course is average, service is poor. I seem to have left mildly unsatisfied the past few rounds.

Good course to play. Moderate front nine that lulls you to sleep but at the turn the course becomes more challenging with additional sand and water following many holes.

This course has got to be the best one to play at in the Miami area. Clean, challenging and staff friendly. Oh and great food. Highly recommended.

This was my local home course back when I went to High School. I since moved away from Miami Lakes area but still live in Miami. I go back every once in a while as I love the course layout. Very challenging back 9... lots of water.

However, I was surprised to learn the greens & tee boxes had been redone and the course was updated. Its playing incredible. The greens are amazing. I would recommend this course to anyone.

Keep in mind, its a little pricy, but you can find good deals on www.golfnow.com. If not, then it can get pricy. ENJOY!

Green are in great condition, hard to read. Fairway need need to mantiend better.

I've played this golf course several times and have always enjoyed the experience. I really appreciate the refurbished bunker. Restrooms needs attention. Staff should ensure that all cart sand containers are full and serviced after each round. Some bunkers had rakes, others didn't. Rake could not be fitted to cart.
