River Oaks Golf Club stretches across more than 800 scenic acres along the Intracoastal Waterway. The Course begins with the shortest of the three nines and finishes with the longest. The final hole on the front nine presents one of the most interesting risk-reward opportunities on the golf course. You can aim for the right bunker for an open shot at the green or try a long drive down the left side for a short approach. River Oaks Golf Clubs' Otter nine has several challenges in store including mounding, strategically placed bunkers, and tricky water hazards.

Good course, value for money
The course is fairly challenging with some water hazards.
It is in good shape although some tee boxes were poor but fairways and most greens were good so no problem.
The staff were friendly and respectful and the round was quick- we were a twosome and a foursome and a threesome waved us through which was good and respectful.
Good course reasonable price
Went out as a foursome. Course played well nice layout. Everybody had a great time. Reasonable price for the area.
A ice Course
The course was nice. A bit backed up at first but then it cleared out. A few things to make this nicest would be a map of he course. We had nothing to tell us where the water was ir the direction of the fairways. Something should be on the cards or at least on the signed at the front of each hole. Also, some of the bunkers were mud as opposed to o sand.

Course was in good shape. Back nine (Otto) was a little soft and wet in spots. Greens were in very good shape. Pace of play was good. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Conditions were very good in comparison to others we played
While in Myrtle Beach we played five courses and the greens at River Oaks was the best of the lot.

Nice layout. In Good condition staff very friendly. I would definitely play this course on my next visit to Myrtle Beach

Course was in great shape with the exception of the sand traps. Most had standing water in them . The front nine was slow but picked up on the Bach

No complaints…pace moved along fairly well, fairways nice, greens a little slow but all in all, a perfect outing at River Oaks!

Great price for a fun course and driving range. Greens ran very true. Staff was very friendly. Brand new carts. Played it twice this trip. Best chicken salad sandwich in Myrtle Beach. Seriously!
