Bali Hai Golf Club

Course conditions were good with fast greens. Don't think I would ever pay top dollar for this course. Lacks a little character. Convienant for the deep pocket strip players that get comp from their casino.

Want views and oh, no planes flying right over you, head for the courses in Summerlin.

My buddies and I had a great time playing this course. Course layout and conditions were on point. Really appreciated the friendliness of the staff. Shout out to Butch! Thanks for the memorable experience. We'll be back!

Good golf course nice layout even though it’s in a small area with the routing and the mounding you did not feel like you were on top of other groups. Course conditions were very good though they had recently over seeded the greens and they were a bit soft.

I played as part of a Stay 'n Play package which was a great value for me. They put me up at Mandalay Bay which is literally next door. Smartest move Walters Golf ever made was to reduce the green fees so the course is more affordable to more players. I would have played it more often if this had been the case in the past. Course is in great shape and the course superintendent works to keep it that way. Staff bent over backwards to make me feel welcome. They matched me with Ray (sorry, don't know his last name). He teaches there a little and used to be on the Senior Tour. He was patient with me and gave some invaluable tips. It was a wonderful experience for me. So I recommend it as a golf destination. Don't forget to tip the staff. Covid 19 has clobbered all the service people in Las Vegas....no I'm not a shill. Hit 'em straight....toodles.

Staff was great. Course was well kept. Greens were fast and true. Easy to read. Still can't believe this 18 hole gem is right on the vegas strip. Will definitely come back if ever in the area again.

The only thing that I had a issue was the greens were filled with divots. Not a lot of attention paid too that.

Wanted to play close to the Vegas strip, after 2 hours of sleep, got to the course & I was greeted well by the staff. Asked if I wanted to tee off with early, I declined because I hadn’t eaten breakfast. Enjoyed a quick breakfast burrito, then went to the practice green, which was in great shape. The driving range was good, I was able 2 warm up, but it is small, miniature but I just wanted 2 loosen up, not dial anything in. Again, the staff was so kind & attentive, even when paying for my round the gentleman gave me a few tips about playing the course.

When I got to the starter, he gave a thorough run down of what to expect. I was a single, they asked if I mind if another single joins me, I didn’t, & had a great round on a great course. It was a wonderful experience from the time I unloaded my clubs until I drove off the property.

Played Bali Hai many times, and its always very good. Customer service is exemplary and the course is in tremendous shape. Gets a lot of rounds, but maintains in excellent condition. Reasonable value too for quality of course. Love the views of Mandalay Bay, Allegiant stadium etc

I finally played Bali Hai and now question why I haven't played it every time to Vegas. What a great experience. I want to thank Teri, my favorite Green Bay Packer fan in the Pro Shop who made me feel like her number one priority, and Ray Beallo, resident Course Ambassador and former Champions Tour Player, who saw I was playing alone and asked if he could join me for 18. Bali Hai will now become my main course when I visit each and every time I return. I must also mention the breakfast sandwich I had at the snack bar. Made from scratch, that breakfast sandwich was the best food I had during my four days in Las Vegas. Play Bali Hai!!

Staff is very professional and follow Governor's COVID-19 guidelines. Greens are moderately fast and well maintained. Fairways are in good shape for this time of year. Infrastructure is well maintained as well...

If you are playing for the first time like me, I would highly recommend talking the Caddie Master "Cadillac " and get a caddie. It will be well worth it!!!

Roll Tide

Course is in great shape and the pace of play great as well. Best views in Las Vegas! The greens roll true.

Whenever I visit Las Vegas, I try to get a round in over at Bali Hai. It is literally a few blocks just south of the Vegas strip so access is incredibly easy. The staff is always very courteous and accommodating, never had any issues whatsoever whenever I play this golf course.

As for the course itself, they are always finding ways to improve upon what I would consider near perfect conditions. The greens are true (a bit quicker than my home course, making putting a bit more challenging), but the sand traps are fluffy and well maintained. It's challenging as far as length is concerned, but also very forgiving as many fairways run parallel to one another and often times if you hit the side of the hill the ball may roll back down onto the fairway itself.

Of course, in the summer it can get incredibly hot (> 100-110F), but playing in late September the weather conditions were perfect. (85-90F, 5-8 mph winds). I would definitely come back and play this course again, as well as recommend it to my friends.

(*Played on a Monday/weekday, the round only took 4 hours. Great pace of play).
