Bali Hai Golf Club

Excellent! Everything was Great except for the noise of all the jets coming in for a landing.

Bali Hai is a must-play for any golfer visiting Vegas. The palm-lined fairways and water features give it a resort-like feel, and the course layout is both fun and challenging, especially the par-3 16th with its island green. The conditions were impeccable, with fast greens and well-maintained Bermuda grass. The staff went above and beyond, from valet to pro shop, and the GPS-equipped carts were a nice touch. Playing with the Strip as a backdrop was unforgettable.

This is a beautiful layout neatly placed just south of the strip. Many of the holes have mounding that helps wayward drives roll back to the fairway. Number ours palms on get in the way with really bad shots. Grass was green, greens were fast and mostly smooth. Some greens showed their heavy use with unrepaired ball marks. The green speed rivaled any I have ever played, much faster than the prior times I played here. The only negative was the lack of sand in the bunkers, which is unfortunately the way of the west any more. Highly recommended playing here at least once.

Enjoyed the Vegas golfing experience here. Beautiful course for every aspect. Doubled my $$ on the Par 3 challenge. Loved it for sure!

Only issue I had was offended planes planes planes its noisy but by 5th hole its blocked in my head .....great staff my gosh .....this place is a well oiled machine.......I love it!

Great horse, friendly, kind staff. Everything was perfect except that they did not have a range and the planes flying overhead were nonstop like every 30 second conversation stoppers.

I think it’s alittle ridiculous to have a golf course in the dessert and not have water available for the golfers on the course. For the price you pay free bottled water or water jugs to refill on the course is not a crazy request.

I am fond of this course. If you are going to charge top prices I expect top conditions. Grass is in good shape even with the temperatures. The bunkers are pathetic. Very easy to rake because there is almost no sand. You do t leave foot prints. It was a heavy bunker day for me. Only the bunker on 18 had more than an inch. The rest was concrete shots. Do better…

Awesome layout, good greens, breakfast burrito and coffee decent Vegas prices for around $20, pace of play was good, played on a hot day and they gave us popsicles a couple times! Spend the extra $10-20 to play here as it’s much cheaper to Uber to than other courses when you stay on the strip! I’ll be back!

Upon arriving at Bali Golf Course, I was greeted promptly and professionally. My bag was taken and placed on my cart without a hitch, which set a positive tone for the day. The pro shop was nice—staff were friendly and welcoming. One minor letdown, however, was the limited selection of golf balls. Only Callaway balls were available for purchase, and as a Pro V1 player, that was a bit disappointing.

The driving range left a lot to be desired. Given the Callaway sponsorship, I expected better-quality range balls. The putting green was closed, and a temporary one was in use, which wasn’t ideal but understandable depending on course maintenance.

The weather was moderately nice, and we were fortunate to be paired with the Petal family, who were an absolute pleasure to play with. That definitely added to the overall experience.

Course conditions were decent. It had rained the day before, and the course held up fairly well. However, the bunkers were below expectations. The sand was inconsistent—hard in some spots, rocky in others—which made me hesitant to hit out of them for fear of damaging my clubs.

The food and drinks were solid, though a bit overpriced—par for the course at many Vegas golf spots.

All in all, Bali is a good course, but not quite the elevated experience I was expecting. It’s a bit overhyped, but still worth a round if you’re in the area. I’d recommend playing it, just temper your expectations.
