This is a fun course as long as you stay out of the bunkers. The bunkers had no sand. They don't need rakes, they need brooms. Terrible.

Excellent course and layout. Choose your tee box carefully. Definitely put in your Vegas rotation for golf.

Booked as a single and was paired with a local member who helped guide me the front 9 but he had to look leave after 9. We were behind a very slow 4-some which was tolerable until I became a single the back 9. There were terrible! 3 couldn’t get off the teebox and they would not let me play through. The course had not Marshall so I was stuck.

I didn’t care for the sand traps. They were all different, some with fluffy sand, others hard packed and 2 with black sand. The greens were fast and didn’t hold good shots.

Not sure I’ll choose to play here again

Let me say I scored poorly. Worst I’ve shot in a long time, and I didn’t hit the ball poorly. Greens are small and difficult. A small miss will likely cause you to miss the green, and getting it up and down around the greens was difficult. If you play conservatively to avoid trouble, you may hit the green and find yourself with a difficult two out.

It was great fun with each hole demanding g precise approach shots. Make a plan before you leave the tee.

Course is excellent. Starter AJ is superb. Every course should thrive to have a starter like him. Kept us informed and was actually running ahead of time.

Had breakfast at the restaurant and it was good.

Now for the course

The course has a great mix of holes. Tee to green the course is very interesting. Every hole is different. Have a plan before teeing off on each hole, just banging out there doesn’t work very well. However, the real difficulty is around the greens.

The greens are fairly small (at least in the holes I noticed) so a small miss may leave you in a a bunker or off the green.. The greens are difficult and getting up and down around the greens is difficult.

On the greens the slopes can be severe. It unfair, just very important to distance control. A lengthy putt may have a several foot break. A downhill putt or chip, will roll several feet farther than you think ;don’t ask how I know).

Overall I throughly enjoyed the course and thought that it was a pretty good value for Las Vegas. Shot my worst score in years, and still would love to play again. I just don’t have time this trip.

So my cart died at 16th hole at sunset and had to walk the two holes in dark with a family member I paid extra just for him to have own cart because he doesn’t walk well and he had to walk the two holes with me . When we got back to clubhouse only person to meet us was cart kid and he just asked if I would help him retrieve the cart but at that point I honestly was just exhausted

I live in Las Vegas and heard about the course but never played it - until now. I was very satisfied with it. I played from the white tees and it was challenging, but not overly so. If you're a 20+ handicapper, I wouldn't recommend it. But for a 15 or less it gives you a good challenge and probably a satisfying round. The greens were fast and smooth. Fairways nice and green. The rough was just enough to make you think, but not extremely penal. In most cases I was able to find my ball. But if you miss the fairway wide you end up in rocky desert and most likely would have to take an unplayable penalty drop. So be careful. The course was in great shape tee to green. Practice facilities and the staff service were also great. We have a lot of excellent courses here in Vegas, but I'd play this course again without hesitation.

The course is in good condition but the bunkers needs some work. It's also definitely a course you need to play a few times to score well but I felt it was worth the cost and especially because we finished the round in 4 hours...

We have played Bear's Best 2 other times and we love the course!! Great holes and excellent layout. Fairways were in great shape. The greens were a little sandy. Overall had a great time and most important will be back!!!

Bear’s Best is a complete disappointment, fairways and tee boxes, grass was very high similar to rough. No roll in the fairways, ball plugs. Greens were ok, very slow.. The course requires significant improvement to be worth $250+ per player.

Eating facilities have not improved in over 10

Years, same simple grill with limited breakfast menu.

Beautiful course I had a great time! I loved all the different variations.

Great course. Loved the views of the Vegas skyline. U could see the whole strip and downtown from the back 9. Homes on the course were amazing. Golf wasn’t bad either. Lol. Would play there again in a heartbeat.
