The only hiccup during the round was they were shooting a commercial on the 17th green and 18th fairway which included Colin Morikowa. Better communication with the patrons would have been a plus and also better golf etiquette even from a professional to keep us from waiting in 100 degree heat.

This was my first time paying out here and it is absolutely friendly for beginners. The views are absolutely amazing as well as the neighboring houses. I will definitely be back!

It was a hot (104F) when we teed off. Happily the twosome ahead of us kept up a great pace. We completed our round in 3:15. It is a challenging track w/ plenty of bunkers. Some holes were cart path only and they seemed to be some of the more difficult/target golf fairways. When it is quite hot (near record breaking for June) that was unfortunate. We look forward to next time under cooler/accessible conditions.

Layout was very good, scenic and challenging enough.greens were just aerated, so sandy and hard to read, but still enjoyable.will be back in October for a tournament, looking forward to it.

Having been told to play BB rather than Bali Hai that I’d booked, I was interested to see this course having not heard about it previously. I’ll get the downside out of the way: spiked greens. It was unfortunate to say the least, but didn’t take away from the fantastic experience. I would def play here again, and would love to see how the greens really run then. Each hole was great, down to the details like pines along the length of the Castle Pines hole. This track was beautiful in every way, the course staff super friendly and engaging, and you would be doing yourself a favour by going to this course whilst in Vegas.

Vehicle robbed in parking lot but First to be fair I’ll review the course: Went to Vegas for a golf trip. Played Bears Best as last round the day before leaving town. Unfortunately the course was not near as good as the others we’d played and the greens were super slow. If you’re looking for a prime course this really is not it and there are a lot of much better options in the Vegas area.

In addition to that, our rental vehicle was broken into in the parking lot while we were playing and one of our players backpack was stolen from the vehicle with a couple thousand dollars worth of belongs. I am very convinced this was a coordinated effort by workers at the facility. It seemed we were targeted as out of towners because no other vehicle was touched.

There are signs in the parking lot that say “management is not responsible for theft or damage while on property” and other signs that say “parking lot is under surveillance” with a picture of a camera. However this is not the case according to the general manager Greg. He stated that there is no video surveillance and his only offer of help was to ask around the staff. I eventually asked to have our rounds comped (4 players) for the trouble but he wouldn’t accept and said he would only comp one persons round ($200) so we had the guy that got his things stolen get his round comped.

Having said that, within 15 minutes of him do this and saying he’d ask around with the staff, I saw him leaving the property. I don’t feel he truly wanted to help and it was extremely disheartening. Now I will likely have to pay my insurance deductible in addition to paying for this less than stellar course.

We had two other friends playing an hour behind us that got paired with an employee of the course on their off day. When they heard what happened they asked this employee if this has happened before and they stated it has more than once.

My review is that this place is subpar and shady. Take your money somewhere nicer and don’t worry about getting robbed. It’s unfortunate this place being in such a nice community can’t even invest in guarding their guests.

When you call the Pro Shop and they tell you the greens are perfect, then you come out and they are still healing from punch marks, you are not happy. Greens are no good, then they bs you at their pro shop. Shouldn't treat us locals like that.

Great conditions, greens ran true, would golf here again.
