Amara Golf & Social Club

This is one of my favorite golf courses in Vegas. The greens were bit chewed up in some places but otherwise, it was a great day.

Greens were in great shape as was the course the sand except for a few holes was very sparse and made it difficult to get out of the sand because there was very little in the bunkers

If you don’t mind the heat and want to play quick golf this was the spot.

First and last time. #sad. Good luck with the plans.

Great golf course with great views. Too bad June 30th, 2025 is the last day for Bears Best. Course was bought and will be torn down including clubhouse. New course being built and will be private.

I guess since course has been sold they are letting it go a little ??? Happy we got to play before going private.

I had a fantastic time at Bear's Best in Las Vegas. The course was challenging but featured a well-designed layout. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. If you're planning a golf trip to Vegas, this course should definitely be on your list.

Probably one of the best courses I've played in Vegas. Unfortunately they will be closing at the end of June to turn private. Get out and play it before it does.

Very fun and challenging course. Lots of bunkers so accurate shots are key. Greens had lots of undulation and rolled fast but true, so speed control is paramount or 3-4 putting can happen quickly lol.

The course is challenging but fair. The staff was excellent from bag drop to cleaning the clubs.

The course condition was disappointing with lots of un-sanded divots and unfixed ball marks. This is a reflection on the clientele and in no way reflects poorly on the hard working staff.

The layout and the views are beautiful. But the course is shutting down soon and it's clear they're not putting much effort into maintaining it. There a lot of dead spots throughout the course. I think it was very inappropriate for them to charge full price when you're not getting their best effort. The staff know their jobs are ending soon, so the customer service was quite poor as well. I wanted to play here one last time before it went private, and I'm sorry I did.

Cool golf carts, mostly friendly staff. Course in poor condition and geese poop everywhere. Fun course to play once.

Great course but sadly it’s going private in June of this year, glad I was able to play it one last time.

Unfortunately, this course has been sold and is closing at the end of June to become a private club. They’re boasting.”play Bears Best before it closes” the problem is they’re not taking care of the course and it’s in BAD condition. I would suggest passing altogether.

Course is closing, going private….and it shows. Several bare spots throughout the course which I would not expect for the rates they charge. On a positive note, the starter AJ was very helpful.

Very disappointed with the golf experience. Course is not in the greatest shape and for $175 I was expecting a lot more!

Fun, challenging, great atmosphere. Going private in June. Get your rounds in while you can
