North Shore Golf Course
About
The 18-hole North Shore Golf Club in Orlando, Florida is a semi-private golf course that opened in 2001. The course slides around lakes and wetlands, and then detours through a grove of large ancient oak trees before re-emerging into the clear at the finish. It has two distinct nines converging to form one remarkable 18-hole layout. Begin your round on the Modern nine, winding through native wetlands and Florida's natural topography. The Classic nine is carved through a grove of 100-year old oak trees, creating an enjoyably unique setting for your finishing holes. North Shore Golf Club is located less than 10 minutes from Orlando International Airport and offers a complete practice facility and world-class instruction.

#13 fairway, long and wide. Ignore the brown grass in the foreground - the fairways are lush enough to hit fairway woods on the par 5s with ease. Photo submitted by Buckleahy on 02/23/2013

Good bang for your buck!
I've never had a bad time at North Shore Golf Course.. ..and the courses in very good shape.
Awful condition
Greens in awful condition. They were punched recently and dead spots all over. The greens looked like a sand trap
The course has a great challenging layout. but was not in adequate condition , maybe was because rain out, or were doing some kind of maintenance. Right now is not in a great to play.
Beware…Aeration in progress
Course is pretty rough right now, but I like the layout. No aeration alert on GN, but when I arrived they said to “start on the back, the front side is being aerated.” Unbeknownst to me, that meant the front side was closed and you had to play the backside twice. First time around, played in 1:45; headed back to the #10 again, and it was totally backed up. Walked off after the first 9, be sure to call before you go to see what’s going on.
Little rough
Course was wet which is understandable this time of year, some of the tee boxes were completely gone and lots of weeds that they don't seem to care to address shouldn't be that hard to go kill some weeds. Overall not too bad like most courses just needs a little more attention.
Fun track, decent shape
Great staff, fun course. I'm a regular here. This place runs hot and cold. Lukewarm now. Greens are struggling. The course is very playable. Wet with all the recent rains. Pace of play was great. We played 18 in under 4 hours.
Some greens need improvements and the ruff were very high
Seen better
New carts with gps are horrible. Can't drive down 17 without being in reverse. Same problem around much of the course. Management was rude and non approachable. Course has many bare spots and weeds on greens. I don't know what happened
Not a bad course. Some of the greens had horrible dead patches. New carts were nice as well except for the geo fence on the carts is way off. It would not allow me to cross a bridge to the next tee box on one hole and would force you to back up sometimes nowhere near the marked area.
Needs work on greens
Numerous greens have problems. Some tee boxes also need some work.
Over Priced for Conditions and Slow
Very disappointed with the course conditions, particularly for the price and summer rates. Lots of bad greens and tee boxes. Plus it was almost a 5 hour round with no marshaller ever on the course. There are definitely better options around.
Very Disappointed
After living here for five years and only ten minutes away from the course, I never played it due to the high green fee rates. Finally found it available on Golf Now for $35 plus tax, so I figured I would give it a try. The greens were so bad and literally un-puttable that I was just picking up my ball. The T boxes were an utter disaster and I was constantly looking for grass to T off. In summary, the course was a grave disappointment and I would never play there again or recommend it unless it was under $20.
