North Shore Golf Course
About
The 18-hole North Shore Golf Club in Orlando, Florida is a semi-private golf course that opened in 2001. The course slides around lakes and wetlands, and then detours through a grove of large ancient oak trees before re-emerging into the clear at the finish. It has two distinct nines converging to form one remarkable 18-hole layout. Begin your round on the Modern nine, winding through native wetlands and Florida's natural topography. The Classic nine is carved through a grove of 100-year old oak trees, creating an enjoyably unique setting for your finishing holes. North Shore Golf Club is located less than 10 minutes from Orlando International Airport and offers a complete practice facility and world-class instruction.

#13 fairway, long and wide. Ignore the brown grass in the foreground - the fairways are lush enough to hit fairway woods on the par 5s with ease. Photo submitted by Buckleahy on 02/23/2013

Nice Place to Play
Nice course and they have invested time and money in detailing the edges of the course so the detailing is impressive.
If you can get a Hot Deal this course will not disappoint you.
Nice day at North Shore.
It's back
When I first moved to Orlando, I had heard that this course used to be really great but at some point had gone downhill. I played it several times over the last couple years and thought it was fine but wondered how it used to be in its glory days. Well, I played the course the other day and the fairways were immaculate. The greens and tee boxes were even beautiful, so for sure, it's back!!!
Guest Trip
North Shore course is in fabulous condition, tee boxes, greens, and overall service from start to finish. Very much enjoyed playing for the first time. If we had not pre booked our rounds at other courses for the week, would certainly schedule two or three rounds here for the condition of the course at this time of year.
Course is in great shape
Played early. 4 hours
Really nice course, in great shape
excellent
Course was in great shape. Wish clubhouse could be updated with a nice bar and F£B.
Non resident rates are too high for the course conditions.
We were in the area for the Daytona 500, so we played golf a couple of days while here. We visit most every year. This course had conditions that were better than when we last played here, but the conditions weren't as good as we had hoped based on the recent reviews. The overseeding helped, but still the course conditions were average. When locals can play for less than $50, you know something is amiss. What isn't right is being charged more than double the local rate.
Pro shop staff was very unfriendly. Told me nothing
The starter was nice but there was no direction given by anyone, course was in mediocre condition for a very high price
Great course conditions
North Shore did what very few public courses do in the area - they overseeded. The conditions are terrific and very green. The course was busy (Saturday) but we got around in 4:15. The greens putted very true and held well hit shots. I don’t have a stump meter but I’d guess they rolled about 9. The staff was very friendly. A very nice experience
Very good course, funny !!!
The course design is very good, with quite a variety of holes and a good mix of easy and challenging ones. The overall condition is good, although the greens could perhaps use a little more attention. But the overall impression is very positive.
Great course
All around great conditions despite recent cold weather.
Good course for the money
Second time going and it won’t be the last. Course is in 8out of 10. Everything is decently maintained, very nice fully stocked clubhouse. Friendly staff. No disappointments whatsoever.
Watch out
North Shore has refused to refund a round citing their 24 hour cancellation policy, despite the fact that the day in question was the coldest in twenty years, the temperature at my tee time was 25 degrees, and they had a frost delay in effect until two hours after the tee time. They called ahead saying they would not be open for our tee time, but apparently expected us to show up two hours afterward to golf in 35 degrees.
Enjoy my $500 North Shore. I don’t think business practices like this will serve you well in the long run.
What a nice surprise!
Pleasantly surprised! Wasn’t sure what to expect but really enjoyed our round. Staff what very nice and accommodating. Our twosome (8 and 9 handicaps) went out at 2:40 and played the front in 1 hour 15 minutes. The back we got hung up and took just under 2 hours. The conditions were pretty good. The greens were damp, but nowhere near wet. Soft and receptive. The grass was a bit odd with two different grasses (could be the season) but they ran fast and true. Really nice layout. Played from the Blues. Good value for the money. Will certainly add this to my return list. Thanks
