North Shore Golf Course
About
The 18-hole North Shore Golf Club in Orlando, Florida is a semi-private golf course that opened in 2001. The course slides around lakes and wetlands, and then detours through a grove of large ancient oak trees before re-emerging into the clear at the finish. It has two distinct nines converging to form one remarkable 18-hole layout. Begin your round on the Modern nine, winding through native wetlands and Florida's natural topography. The Classic nine is carved through a grove of 100-year old oak trees, creating an enjoyably unique setting for your finishing holes. North Shore Golf Club is located less than 10 minutes from Orlando International Airport and offers a complete practice facility and world-class instruction.

#13 fairway, long and wide. Ignore the brown grass in the foreground - the fairways are lush enough to hit fairway woods on the par 5s with ease. Photo submitted by Buckleahy on 02/23/2013

Not worth the price
Not worth $65. If I paid $35 I would have been happy. Would rather play celebration for that price
North Sore
This course was awesome! Can’t wait to play it again!
Course was in great shape!!!!
Already booked a tee time for next week
Hidden gem. Well worth a visit
We've vacationed in Orlando for many years. No idea why, but we haven't come across North Shore before. This week, a new local friend recommended it to us.
Wow. We'll be back every time we're in Orlando in future.
Loved it.
Good value (esp. as a FL resident - bring your FL DL to get the local rate), Course in nice condition; tee boxes good, fairways and rough pretty decent, Greens OK - could have benefitted from (lots of) previous players repairing their pitch marks, but that's not really the course management's fault, just lazy players. Nice layout, Well maintained bunkers,
Well worth a visit - why isn't it more visible on the usual tee time booking sites ? No Idea.
I read some reviews before we played that suggested the staff weren't very welcoming. Maybe we lucked out - but everyone we met was friendly, helpful, had a smile on their face...everything you'd hope for from the staff at a course.
Worth searching for a tee time - you won't be disappointed
Awesome Layout
North Shore is a great layout. Water Trees Doglegs etc. no boring up and down like some courses
Course was in great condition, actually a little wet which was surprising as we had little rain recently
Tee boxes fairways and greens all in great shape
Pace of play was great
Will play again when I can get a good deal
Great Layout
North shore is one of our local favorites. Disappointed that they are not participating in GHIN handicap this year.
Way too wet
Sunday morning made for an interesting round, but not exactly in a good way. The greens are in good shape, with only a patch or 2 throughout the course, mainly on the edge of a couple greens. They rolled fast and true, so you did have ro mind your speed. The main problem was the course is way too wet. The greens were so soft, that you left footprints with every step, and crouching to line up your putts left lasting depressions in the green. The rough was thick and lush, which actually was quite nice, as the ball didn't sink all the way down. The fairways were basically mud, however. In trying to make sure the overseed takes, they have severely over-watered the course. Even with the prior weeks rain, other courses close by were much drier and firmer. You will not get any roll at all in the fairways, so plan on the course playing 500-600 yards further than the card. You can tell the staff is really trying to make a very nice course, but they need to back off the water for a little while.
