About
The 18-hole North Shore Golf Club in Orlando, Florida is a semi-private golf course that opened in 2001. The course slides around lakes and wetlands, and then detours through a grove of large ancient oak trees before re-emerging into the clear at the finish. It has two distinct nines converging to form one remarkable 18-hole layout. Begin your round on the Modern nine, winding through native wetlands and Florida's natural topography. The Classic nine is carved through a grove of 100-year old oak trees, creating an enjoyably unique setting for your finishing holes. North Shore Golf Club is located less than 10 minutes from Orlando International Airport and offers a complete practice facility and world-class instruction.

#13 fairway, long and wide. Ignore the brown grass in the foreground - the fairways are lush enough to hit fairway woods on the par 5s with ease. Photo submitted by Buckleahy on 02/23/2013

Golfer Reviews
much improved track
we stopped coming here a few years ago because condition. was very bad. However this was a pleasant surprise. They have obviously put some money into many repairs and upgrades. It was a huge improvement. the only negative was that on the 11th hole there were three groups waiting. That made the pace far too slow and there was no marshal. That needs to change.
Relaxing course to play.
This course is a well laid out course to play, for mid to higher handicap players. It is challenging but not unfair. We were 4 Senior Canadian golfers who thoroughly enjoyed playing here. We could not find any negative issues, with this course.
JOKE
What a joke 125$ for dirt spots on the green and slow play 6 hour round would have left but was playing good and guys please do use a favor and say no to your wife’s when they ask to come with you like jeez
North Shore
I have played here several times and this was the worst condition I’ve seen the course in. The tee boxes had not been mowed and had several dirt patches. Fairways were nice. Green speeds were inconsistent, had weeds, and signs of disease. No marshal to keep pace of play up as we had to wait on every tee box and green. I would love to see them add water fountains to the course. Will play here again.
North shore worth the drive
We played the course on a cool 60 degree day so there wasn't a lot of people. No starter, no cart girl but otherwise the course was wonderful. Fairways and greens were in excellent condition. Overall, a wonderful experience
Nice course
Course was in good condition despite the rains. was a bit soggy put playable. As a single for the first 9 holes and then joining up with a two some I played the course in under 3 hours.
Course was great to play.
All aspects of this course, were in great shape. Conditions were ideal. Would highly recommend this course, for all handicap ranges.
$65 course AT BEST. Tee to green nice enough, a lot of greens, especially the back 9 had room for improvement. Played as a group of 6 and still waited on every tee box. Staff was very nice, clublhouse and off course amenities left a lot to be desired
Usually excellent
We love playing at this course. Staff are welcoming and friendly, fair course layout for an enjoyable game. On this occasion very slow from 7 and waiting too long on every shot from 11. PGA show finishing day and a few were playing before flying home.
Greens need help
We found this course about a year ago, maybe a little longer and loved it. Beautiful green grass. Never a lot of people playing. Multiple tees for different levels. I have noticed as of late the greens have become like they painted green on top of a mud wall. The ball sinks and stops. Patches everywhere, dirt spots. For $80 it isn’t the most expensive by any means, but there are multiple courses in the Orlando area that are half the price with much better green conditions
Lack of Customer Service
Charged me for a no show through the Golf Now app, even though I played my round there. Called them to clear it up, and they were rude! Told me I could use the charge for a rain check at the course.
Simply disputed the charge. Moving on. Too many other options in Orlando to play.
Staff keeps locals away with bad service and policies
I thought this place made some good changes. I was wrong.
Totally empty tee sheet there at North Shore. Always is, because of the reputation there of bad course conditions and REALLY bad pro shop staff. Nonetheless, we played there the week prior, and appreciated the upgraded course maintenance and conditions. So we booked a 4 ball for Monday Jan 22nd.
I want to reiterate, a totally empty tee sheet for the morning.
Each of us arrive at different times, and all checking in separately. One person of the 4 people didnt make it to check in on time. The evening after my round, I received an email from Golf Now stating that North Shore reported me as a no show for my tee time, and Force Charged charged me the cost of the greens fee, even though I already paid and played that morning!
The course has literally no one on the tee sheet, and we are local, potentially twice a week paying customers.
Classless at best, and an obvious lack of human element in North Shore Golf Club's policies.
In Central Florida, where we have a variety of top quality golf courses to choose from, customer service and human nature is paramount. Northshore lacks it in a major way, proven by the reputations and reviews, but it shows in an obvious way on their tee sheets.
Thank you for making your biggest competitor - Eagle Creek Golf Course, look like GODS in comparison.
Great Value!
The course was in great condition and the staff was incredibly friendly. I look forward to playing again.
