North Shore Golf Course
About
The 18-hole North Shore Golf Club in Orlando, Florida is a semi-private golf course that opened in 2001. The course slides around lakes and wetlands, and then detours through a grove of large ancient oak trees before re-emerging into the clear at the finish. It has two distinct nines converging to form one remarkable 18-hole layout. Begin your round on the Modern nine, winding through native wetlands and Florida's natural topography. The Classic nine is carved through a grove of 100-year old oak trees, creating an enjoyably unique setting for your finishing holes. North Shore Golf Club is located less than 10 minutes from Orlando International Airport and offers a complete practice facility and world-class instruction.

#13 fairway, long and wide. Ignore the brown grass in the foreground - the fairways are lush enough to hit fairway woods on the par 5s with ease. Photo submitted by Buckleahy on 02/23/2013

Hidden gem
North Shore, is a hidden gem of a golf course. Real friendly and helpful staff. , good challenging golf course for all levels and the greens were in good shape. The girl bringing the on course drinks was nice , friendly and courteous , as we the girls behind the bar. Overall well worth the visit you won’t be disappointed.
Gem!
Why is this the 1st time I've played here? This course is
Very nice. Great layout, Greens, Tees and Fairways are in really good shape. Clubhouse has a great selection of merchandise. I'd recommend this course to any of my friends.
A must play!
This was my first time playing here and I'm already planning my next tee time. The nicest course in the area in my opinion.
Greens Need TLC
The staff was fine. I did not use the practice facilities this time. The carts do not have GPS. That’s a major negative to me because I don’t have GPS on my phone or a range finder. They did have 100, 150 & 200 stones and markers on the par 3’s. They layout itself is wonderful. A nice variety of holes. The only thing l didn’t like about the design is trees in play when you’re in the fairway. Conditions were fine on the tees, fairways and bunkers. But the greens… They are literally spungy. And there is a lot of off grasses and disease. They need to be completely ripped up and replaced. They are playable, but not up to standards. Shame.
Best condition in months. Greens were perfect. Course was recently overseeded so the fairways are wet due to watering so you will not get much roll. But the tees are good, fairways have plenty of grass without any bare spots, the rough is just thick enough to be penal but not so thick that you can’t find your ball. At the Fla resident rate - now is the time to play.
Pretty good.
Start at beginning, pro shop friendly and well stocked, nice layout, some tough holes some easy holes .fairways pretty good, greens mostly good, one or two had a few bad bits on them, tees not to bad,so 4 out of 5 stars seems about right.
Beware the "Pots and Pans" division
Fun course. I'm a regular. Went as a single. Got paired with a 15 handicap and two guys from the "pots and pans" division. No headcovers, and multiple mulligans off the 1st tee, weren't gonna break 120. We got to the 2nd tee and the group ahead of us had already left the 3rd tee...so we ditched the two "clangers" and played by ourselves. Never saw them again after the 3rd/4th hole. I get pairing folks up to make foursomes, but try to account for skill level. Great staff, course was in good shape... greens have made a nice comeback, except for the spray painted 6th green.
Almost good
Have played North Shore before, but for 75 a round at this moment it is no where near worth that.
Staff was inviting & beverage cart comes out early
Only solid part of the course were the fairways.. tee boxes and greens and bunkers were horrendous
In the past it was well kept and the price reflected that, but not this time around.
