North Shore Golf Course

This course was the whole package! Was in good shape, had an interesting layout, and had enough challenge to keep it interesting! Will definitely head back soon. Pros: rates for the course were remarkably reasonable and the practice facility was excellent.

Picked up a hot deal for an 11 am round at Northshore. The staff, fairways, and greens were great. We finished in just under 3 hours for a great golfing experience!

Buddy and I decided to get out for a Thursday afternoon round...4pm. When I get there the guy inside said my buddy already had the cart. I asked if I could have another one because I had my 9 and 5 yr old sons who were riding with me.

Guy wouldn't waive their $25 charge to take a 2nd cart at 4pm on Thursday on an empty course. $25 so my sons could ride along and hit a shot every few holes.

Then, we get on the course and the first 10 hopes had been sanded over. There was no mention of this in the clubhouse. There was no reduction in the rate. This course just continues to disappoint and bleed players for every dime they can get.

Course in good shape especially considering the challenging Central Fla weather.

Great pace of play and good value.

The staff is nice but the greens were not good. They were pretty rough in numerous spots.

There was a sixsome playing in front of us and, if there was a player assistant anywhere, he didn’t do a darn thing about it. The six players did break up on the 18th tee before someone in the clubhouse saw them.

Just a total lack of maintenance across the board. From tees to fairways to bunkers (not horrible traps) to greens with big sections of disease or fungus. Staff great. Layout great. Just spend some money in the right places and they will come. See ya in 6 more months to see if anything got better. But sadly not likely. Too many choices around Orlando.

I have played this course a lot. It’s in the worst shape I have ever scene it! Usually greens nice and fast, not now. Fairways punched recently fungus on couple greens. Just not good. I would not play again till maybe mid august? Late august?

The course overall layout was nice. The difference between blues ~6500 and white tees ~5800 were huge . No combo option. So you either have play a loooong course or a short one . Im not a long hitter but 5800 is short for me.

Some Tee boxes needed grass . I don't care too much because i tee my ball up anyway.

Some Fairways were strangely discolored with patches of yellow and green grass. a few areas needed TLC . Overall ok to hit off in most cases.

The rough was ok not too high .

A few greens (on the edges needed to be regrown or under repair) the middle of the greens where the pins were fine though. they rolled slow but true .

I'd come back for the GN hot deals around 40$ , but won't pay more unless the conditions improved . They need a lot of work !!

Oh and pace of play was awesome on the Thursday we played. No one was in front of us . Tee time was 11am. Finished the round under 3.5hrs !!
