North Shore Golf Course

Interesting course, greens nice and rolling well, friendly staff, good condition especially given the recent weather, excellent value, highly recommend!

Generally, the course is in Ok shape, but it seems like they’re on the verge of losing a couple greens. Heavily sanded areas on several greens, and the majority of the greens were extremely soft, which led to a lot of footprints and a very very bumpy putting surface. The spots that are normally wet are still wet. It’s probably $10-$20 more than it should cost, but it’s the standard going rate nowadays. For the price that’s charged, the greens should be in much better shape than they are, but it is what it is.

I’ve played here many times over the years since they first opened up. I’ve seen the best of conditions here and a couple years ago, the worst. Right now definitely not the worst but far from the best. Farther away from good conditions than they were 6 mos ago when I was last here. Just about all Orlando courses are much improved from where they were around Covid times. Some quickly getting better, some slowly improving. I play all over town every weekend and this is one of the few going the other way. Getting worse. And it’s all a lack of maintenance. Which equals money. A big surge of play nationwide since Covid, so really no reason this course shouldn’t be getting their fair share of that. But you’ve got to put some money in and they will come.

Greens not bad but patchy, torn up, and dead spots on all greens. Weeds everywhere. Maintenance.

Fairways fair but way too much of the grass is weeds. Maintenance.

Tee boxes are not horrible, but that’s always the last concern when you’re in need of upkeep.

This course is a great design. Real close to the airport for fly in/fly out days. There’s revenue. Instead they’re likely headed down the road to Eagle, which is in much better shape.

Disappointed. This course should be getting better. It’s not. It’ll be quite a while before I come back. And I know I’m not alone.

First time playing after reading good reviews. Well worth the drive from Davenport. Played from blue tees. Some really long par 4’s and 5,s. Conditions were great. Greens were a pleasure to putt on…Will play there again. Only drawback was the snack bar. Very limited menu and no draft beer.
