About
The 18-hole North Shore Golf Club in Orlando, Florida is a semi-private golf course that opened in 2001. The course slides around lakes and wetlands, and then detours through a grove of large ancient oak trees before re-emerging into the clear at the finish. It has two distinct nines converging to form one remarkable 18-hole layout. Begin your round on the Modern nine, winding through native wetlands and Florida's natural topography. The Classic nine is carved through a grove of 100-year old oak trees, creating an enjoyably unique setting for your finishing holes. North Shore Golf Club is located less than 10 minutes from Orlando International Airport and offers a complete practice facility and world-class instruction.

#13 fairway, long and wide. Ignore the brown grass in the foreground - the fairways are lush enough to hit fairway woods on the par 5s with ease. Photo submitted by Buckleahy on 02/23/2013

Golfer Reviews
Nice course but…
The course was in VG condition. Fairways and greens were very nice. But the pace of play was poor. Saw 5-somes and an 8-some on one tee. Waited on every shot from #7 on; needed more ranger(s) to keep people moving, and the twosome in front of us was driving the cart on green aprons. I was disappointed given the above average cost.
Need a ranger
Course in in generally good shape. Practice area better than average. Beverage cart staff very friendly
However. We gave up and left after it took 3 hours to play 11 holes
No where to move. Four groups on a Par 5. Rude SOBs behind us lobbing balls at us while on the green
Greeted from the time you walk in the front door of the club house. The lady working in the restaurant is a GEM of a human. Course is in great shape and the layout makes you think about your shots.
Enjoyable round
Good practice facilities and reasonable challenges with water hazarde.
Hidden Gem
My group and I call this course Orlando’s hidden gem. Live playing here.
The fairways and greens are in good condition. It is overpriced- it would be a fair value at $55-$75.
North Shore golf course
I like the course. It is in the best shape that it has been in quite a while. I believe it is a good course for different levels of players. My only concern is the price is quite high and doesn’t have the quality for the price they are charging. Thanks
North Shore Round
No sand trap rakes on the first few holes. Greens were very slow and difficult to read. There was no starter so just went to the tee a half hour before we were supposed to tee off and just went. Cart girl was nice, but had vodka but no Bloody Mary mix. Some signage was confusing. On the other hand, the course was challenging and laid out very well. Course maintenance was above average, but not great. Not sure it was the best value.
Staff at check in
Our reservation was at 11:30 AM, but we got there around 10 AM to do the practice range. At the check-in, the staff told us that we were not allowed to go early because we made the reservation via GolfNow. This comment was totally unsolicited, and the course was wide open. I feel like I was treated differently because I got a deal via Golfnow. The staff also told us to eat at their restaurant. The course is nice, but I got so offended, and made sure I did not spend a dime on the premise.
Nice, but could be improved.
My only real complaint is that after paying for a round and club hire (~$200), I feel like they could have included free range balls and golf tees. I didn't like having to pay for those as well.
Course was well maintained with challenging greens.
For the price, it wasn’t worth it! Charging $17 for range ball was insane too!! Women Rest room door knob was broken!
