North Shore Golf Course

The course is in good shape, tee boxes are good.

Some greens have damage and you cannot putt thru the damage. The fairways are green and bunkers have lots of sand.

I’ve played here a few times in the last 8-10 years and it has noticeably improved since my last game here a couple of years ago. Tees and fairways were in very good shape and the greens ran true. I played on my own and walked the course on a Monday afternoon and it took me just over 3 hours. Caught one group up on 16 and they were quite happy to let me play through. Well worth the $50 green fee, a thoroughly enjoyable day.

North shore is a fun and challenging course. Conditions are topically good, but they have their issue…as most courses do. My only complaint is that it is ALWAYS SLOW. I’ve played the course 6 times and each time, the starter has a story about why they started late and, and, and. There is no course marshal to push the pace or ensure players are observing their own posted rules.

Very friendly staff all around, never had a bad experience with them. Course is in beautiful shape, minus a few greens on the back having some small patcjy areas but nothing real bothersome. Pace of play is usually never a problem any time of day as most golfers of slower pace let you thru without issues.

My only negative is no coolers on the carts. It's florida, every course should have coolers.

Anyways, I'd recommend 7 days a week

We’ve played North Shore many times, and the course is in as good of shape as it gets for North Shore. Unfortunately, we had issues yet again with the grounds crew cutting grass all morning.

We teed off around 8am and only multiple holes on the front and back, they were cutting the grass. Multiple mowers, not stopping while we were putting, and heading up and down the fairways while we were playing and not stopping to let us hit.

If this was the first time we’ve experienced this here, I wouldn’t post about it, but it seems like every time we add this course back into our rotation this is a common occurrence.

We play all over Central Florida and never experience this many mowers/workers being on the course all at once and for as long as they were.

The course was in great shape from tee to green. Pace of play was a bit slow at times due to a slow twosome in front of our foursome who plays pretty fast but not too bad. I wish the course was included in GHIN so I can keep full stats instead of just overall score on front/back.

I’ve been playing North Shore over many years. Over the last number of years, they have done a lot of work improving the course.

I hadn’t played there in 3-4 months and I was amazed at the incredible condition of the course. EVERYTHING was in top condition. Fairways, rough, tees weren’t bad. Green had recently been punched and top dressed and the greens were 80% healed. 9 speed rolled nicely and will get even faster.

Beautiful day. Great pace of play. I will be coming back ALOT more in the future. The condition of supposedly superior courses does not match this one.
